    • Nice idea, too much plastic
This works well at putting a line down, the biggest issue I have is that it is mostly plastic and when you tighten the blade nut down it compresses the plastic and shifts the line. Further, not tightening this down is not an option for safety reasons. Maybe the next version they release will be more solid. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It's not real bright, and I originally was going to put it on a radial arm saw, but the shaft size was too big for that. Fits old craftsman cut off saw.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this laser guide to use on my Dewalt 12" chop saw using a milwaukee finish blade. First biggest problem is the laser is incredibly dim. It's difficult to see the laser under shop lighting. It is not visible at all while working outside. Second biggest problem is the laser is offset by ⅛" in front of the cut. Probably due to the next problem. Third biggest problem is its all plastic. It bends and flexes with ease when you put the bolt back on. I pulled this out of the mailbox today and I will be returning it as soon as I press send on this review. Bad product. Weak plastic makes prolonged use of this a SAFETY RISK. ... show more

My shop is outdoors and it is very difficult to see the laser marking on bright days. Otherwise, it is easy to install and works out of the box. It does seem slightly built given the application. I guess time will tell.

The product I received is made of metal in all places where needed, is rugged, and works well. I saw several reviews that were quite negative about this product, but my experience has been positive. Works well for indicating the cut line, bright enough to see in the shop (may be different outside in bright sun light - did not try that). I think this is an innovative add-on to increase the utility of a miter saw and I am glad to have ordered it. Recommended! ... show more

    • Fit my old miter saw and added a much desired feature.
Everything lined up pretty nicely, it’s plastic but felt ok cranking it down. Definitely wouldn’t want to use it outdoors but it works fine in my garage with the light on. The line itself is pretty fine so it’s easy to make accurate cuts.
