Great Mini-Split AC – Perfect for a Hot Texas Concession Stand Bought this to help cool a 500 sq ft concession stand packed with 4 beverage fridges and 3 freezers — and with 100°+ days here in Texas, that’s no small task. Two months in, and I’m very happy with the performance. It keeps the space comfortable and handles the heat load well. Installation was straightforward. I rented a vacuum pump from the local auto parts store to pull a vacuum before charging, and everything else was simple to set up. Highly recommend for similar commercial or home setups!

I call it a hybrid DIY because they say it is not, but they rent you the tools! Professionals don't rent much for basic installations. Take your time and evacuate the lines. If you follow the directions and don't link the line or use the length (16.5) provided, you'll be fine. Customer service is great..
