I love Della . I installed 5 of these and everyone loves them . I also bought more expensive ones but were not as good The first one was installed about 5 years ago and I had no problem with any of them

    • Do not buy.
Very disappointed it doesn't work. You are better off with a space heater. In a cold day it will not raise the room temperature above 41 degrees. It's a total waste of money.

    • Inaccurate thermostat and fluctuations in temperature, but manageable.
Some things keep it from being above average rating. The temperature in my brand new 18x14x10 sunroom has to be set on 64 degrees in heat mode, to keep the temperature between 68 to 72 degrees during winter. So, it does not hold a constant temp or have accurate thermostat. I’m guessing the 12kt unit might be too big for the room, but the 10kt unit seemed borderline for the room given I have 10 large windows. It’s quiet enough normally, but every few hours it seems to recycle producing some clicking sounds that could disturb your nap. Flipped to cool mode a few times already and it seems to do better in cool mode. It does lower the humidity in the room from nominal 55 to 30 percent. The outside humidity in VA is 70-80 percent normally. It does seem to be very energy efficient as I have not even noticed a significant increase in electric bills with the room addition. I had a pro put it in after reading the installation instructions because of the electrical requirements associated with a new install. I called customer service to see if I had something in the settings wrong and although they did not pick up the phone, they did call me back the following day when I wasn’t available. ... show more
