This unit calls for a professional install as it is a 220 volt system. Total installation took about 3 hours with electrician and A/C technician doing a totally thorough and professional installation. Something I should have done 18 years ago. System is very quiet and very efficient. I have been through 6 window units in 18 years. $600 to $800 each. Those units were extremely loud. Just bought the Della hyperheat 23,000 BTU minisplit. Had it professionally installed. Fired it up blower started blowing then E6 error. Bad PCB board and Fan Communication sensor or something. They wanted to send a whole replacement unit which would have been a ton of rework. But they are sending replacement parts. I hope this works. Not a good impression at all so far. One star for now ... show more

BEWARE, good working units, i have had 3, all have failed within 2 to 3 years, mostly leaking freon over time ie 6 to 7 months after aprox 1.5 years old, this time I purchased the most expensive one $1700 thinking it would be better and it was wrong out of the box. See pictures UPDATE: 02/25/26 PM. Now Della says full refund email was a mistake. Refund only if i send the unit back. To do so would cost me again to have a company come out to recover the freon, cut the line set, electrical and such, and secure to a pallet and return somehow to a trucking depot 100 miles away. UPDATE: 02/25/26 AM. I was contacted by della, offered a full refund, i responded, yes, full refund. Della has failed to do so far, still waiting. I will update as necessary. Buyer beware of warranty, very misleading. Unit arrived earlier than anticipated, without damage on a pallet. Unit was packed well, but when it came time to install the incorrect line set was sent, the flare fittings would not connect. An AC installer had to cut the lines and solder them together. Unit works well gets really cold or hot. Sad that it only has a one year parts warranty. Easily connected to Wi-Fi and control remotely. Bought a Della system because the Amazon ad said limited lifetime warranty, after registration it states only for one year. Their warranty coverage is very misleading, buyer beware! I have this unit in a 24x30 garage I know it's way overkill but I wanted to make sure it stays cool in the summer and it will get the garage under 60° f. Didn't plan on using it much in the winter but I set it to 68 and never tuen it off. Shop is mainly insulated 2x4s studs and 4" of insulating in ceiling. Doesn't use much power at all. I have this unit always on another one always on in a smaller print room and my large shop thata mainly storage rite now. My power bill is only $55 ish a month in yelm washington with Puget sound energy ... show more

I read reviews from several manufacturers, this is the only one I found that tries to address the mold issues. It took a while to get installed just because our refrigeration guy was so busy. I highly recommend professional insulation. He usually installs another brand and was happy with the ease of installation. I like that it connects to Alexa, but so far I can only turn it on or off using it. The phone app is great and easier to use for me. I did have an issue with the remote an after speaking with customer service, I was sent a replacement promptly. We have a 24000 btu unit at one end of a 16 x 32 ft room and it warms / cools the space in no time. It’s very quiet even in turbo mode. It’s already saving us a ton of money. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Have had for 1 year and is amazing! Is our main heat source in the winter and our AC in the summer. Great product and easy to DIY install. Maybe have somebody who knows how to vacuum out your AC lines help you but other than that they install is easy and you can do it yourself! ... show more
