I purchased this mini split system last summer. The quality is great and with a little DIY research, easy to install. I had a self-induced problem programming the system to use the Android app, and tech support was fast and easily remedied my problem. It cools about 1000 sq ft in 90 deg f weather for us. Works down to 20 deg F for heating in the winter

I'm thrilled to share my early love affair with the DELLA 12000 BTU Mini Split. A 20 SEER efficiency monster that promises frosty Summers and cozy Winters. While I haven't yet battled the California heat wave (cue dramatic music please!), this unit has already made a lasting impression. First, let's talk about raw power. This bad boy boasts a 20 SEER rating, meaning it's a champion of energy efficiency. Simply put, it cools like a freezer while sipping on electricity like a tiny teacup poodle. I can't wait to test this chiller in the heart of summer. I'll definitely update this review when the mercury explodes, but just knowing this icy warrior awaits warms my soul (okay, cools it, technically). Now, let's talk tech. DELLAs got all the fancy bells and whistles, namely Smartphone control. Download the DELLA app, and boom, you're the emperor of your climate kingdom. Adjust temperature, set schedules, switch between functions – all from the comfort of your couch. No more sprinting to the unit when the perfect chill escapes you. Technology, don't fail me now. Okay, here's the caveat: while installation isn't brain surgery, a little HVAC know-how goes a long way. DELLAs recommends dedicating a circuit breaker and testing for leaks at the lines (cue the DIY montage music!). If you're a seasoned home warrior, this is a walk in the park. First and foremost... This product is designed to be installed by a professional. Lots of key information is not in the manual most likely because this is probably first hand knowledge for an experienced hvac person. Information missing from previous reviews. 1) the larger line on the indoor unit is pressurized. Be careful removing the cap. 2) the outdoor unit MUST have the lines seated properly. 3) on the outdoor unit you must remove the copper caps(the ones pointed away from the unit) and open the valves ONLY AFTER you have properly seated the copper lines. You will hear a slight hissing as the coolant fills the lines. If the hissing last longer than a few seconds or you see liquid escaping you need to close the valve immediately and either seat your line better or find the leak. 4) batteries supplied were dead. The remote will still light up, but won't power the unit on in that case. I think that covers all the info missing that we managed to figure out. Unit is incredibly quite inside and out, powerful fan, super sleek, android setup was a breeze. Very happy with this unit.

Do not buy this unless you fulfill all of the following requirements: -You are generally a very handy person -Your installation will have the minisplit head unit on the exact opposite side of a wall from the condenser -You own a torque wrench -You are using flareseals -You are not extending the length of this at all -You know exactly how to plumb a condensation line Or if you're an HVAC person I guess. Note that very few HVAC people up north will work on this unless you buy it directly from them. If you're planning on having an HVAC person install it, BUY ONE DIRECTLY FROM THEM. This was a nightmare to install in a more custom situation. Save yourself time and money by following my suggestions. You will regret not doing so EDIT: DO NOT BUY THIS MINISPLIT PERIOD! GOOD LUCK FINDING SOMEONE WILLING TO COME OUT. Actually, buy this for someone you hate or recommend it to them. It will make their life a living hell until they gain the good sense to throw it away

I bought this mini spilt because of the price to cool my 35 foot 5th wheel. Living in Arizona during the summer, I needed an a/c that wouldn't cost me a fortune to operate. Both my overhead units were costing me as much as $399 A month. The first month using this mini spilt cost me $114. The customer ratings on this brand (Della) was mostly good, so I took the chance on it. I put the unit in myself with no problems. I did need to have our park matenence man wire it into the meter box and vacuum the lines. I placed the unit on the rear wall of the trailer to blow back to front and it's doing a great job. Depending on the day (how hot it is) I run it at 78-80° and pretty cold in the back of the trailer and keeps the front bedroom comfortable. I am very pleased with the purchase of this unit and brand.

My screened porch gas vinyl windows so it is not an ideal place to air condition, but along with the window ac I already had, it is the coolest room we have, including all inside the house during 103 heat index days. Highly recommend
