The worst purchase I have ever made in my life. Before this, I owned ASUS and Panasonic laptops, which all lasted more than 4 years without any issues and its price was half of what this cost.When I shopped around, I liked the high-quality keyboards and beautiful sound effects of this laptop and decided worth the investment. Wrong. The first XPS 15 laptop did not even turn on after being fully charged. I returned and received a replacement. After 3 days of use, it started to freeze more than 10 times daily. I called DELL customer service multiple times of which they gave helpless advice such as 'turn off and on the laptop'. I had to call 3 times to convince them that I could ship this to the service center to get it fixed. Afterwards, it did get fixed but occasional blackouts and freezing of the screen still happened. I only use laptop for emails, Office documents and won't do any online games or watch movies. After 1 year, the laptop completely stopped working. DELL demanded an extended customer service charging >300 dollars. I brought my laptop to a local computer repair service, and I heard they have been seeing many customers bringing DELL XPS lately for various defects. I will never purchase anything from DELL and I hope you don't need to waste your precious money like I did for this. ... show more
