This is a very sturdy cart and the easily detachable rails make it versatile. It has proven very useful in our yard. Assembly is made easier by the clearly marked hardware for each step. One tip for something not clearly detailed in the picture instructions: when attaching the tongue to the axle, I recommend you hold the tongue vertically when inserting the bolt to attach the two parts. Trying to slip the bolt through while the tongue is horizontal, the way it’s shown in the drawing, is frustrating. It’s much easier when vertical and you can wiggle it while passing the bolt through.

This cart has held up well so far for hauling my firewood around a 180+ acre property. I wish it had a standard 2” ball hitch, but the recommended addon will show a dual hitch which I ordered after changing it to match the size for my 4 wheeler. It is heavy duty, and rides okay at slow speeds. It maneuvers well enough around tight turns. It seems to be stable and hasn’t flipped, even under extreme conditions. I loaded it very full of wood and drove sideways on a 25% slope (slowly) and it hasn’t tried to flip. I don’t endorse doing that as it is NOT safe, especially for people who don’t understand physics and engineering well. It There was only one major issue that others have experienced. I was missing a pin, likely because the box came obliterated. Gorilla royally messed up on packaging and the cardboard is extremely thin and dry making it shred during shipment. It needs to be boxed i. Addition to manufacturing packaging. I did contact Gorilla customer service after registration and filed a claim and received the pin in a week. I would definitely recommend getting the cart, but shipment is a critical issue.

Let me start this by saying I love gorilla cart products. I have two poly tub yard carts that have stood the test of time and abuse from my garden, which is what ultimately let me to buy a yard trailer from gorilla cart for my atv. So let me tell you why you should look elsewhere for a garden trailer. First off is the packaging. This trailer was absolutely not meant to be shipped by itself via fedex or UPS. It was absolutely designed to be bulk shipped on a pallet and then put on a shelf in a retail store. It is 100% not packaged well enough for its weight to prevent any kind of damage from being tossed around in the back of a UPS truck. What I received was a thin box torn to shreds with scratched and dirty parts. Luckily, somehow, nothing was missing even though I could see the tires and bolt bag from the outside of the box. Second, the fit and finish is not great, it again really showcases how bad the packaging is because it lets you really see just how dinged up and scratched everything is. The expanded metal floor and sides are very thin and are so thin that they will likely deform and bend as soon as you throw in a small log or branch. Aside from the missing paint from items rubbing together in transit, assembly was troublesome. I had to bend the side rails back square just to get them to slide into the trailer base properly. Something I’d expect from VEVOR or some word salad Amazon brand, but not gorilla cart. Lastly is the dumping mechanism and angle. The dump mechanism looks heavy duty, but there’s so much play in the release pin and receiver that it bounces around and rattles like hell riding around the yard. Now for the pathetic dump angle, On my poly tub gorilla carts I am able to dump and flip the cart all the way over to remove material. You cannot even do a quarter of the tilting angle on the trailer. The wheels are so small that you can maybe get 20-25 degrees of tilt out of the thing when the mechanism is released. That’s is barely enough tilt to get loose items out of the trailer, much less some stubborn branches or dirt. The only nice thing I have to say about the trailer is the axle and wheels are great quality and seem heavy duty. Wheels have big chunky bearings and they have grease fittings. I just wish the wheel diameter was bigger. If you don’t plan on using the dump feature and just want something to abuse and fill up with material to haul around the yard this will work fine. Do not expect this thing to show up in perfect condition. While I’m not happy with the value for the money, I’ll still get plenty of use out of it. I just expected a lot more quality out of the brand that I thought didn’t have a bad product.

The wagon is solid and heavy. I’m sure when it left the factory it was perfect but what I ended up with is far from it. First of all it was dropped off in my driveway by FedEx. Literally dropped from truck and they would not help me move it even to the side. The box was in really bad shape, dented and torn. There was some effort to tape it for reinforcement. When I opened the box the first thing I noticed there was no documentation. Ok no big deal, it’s got to be on the web site right? I searched everywhere and could not find it. Nothing under product, additional resources, or search by product name. Thankfully the distributor has great customer service and was able to get me a copy within an hour. The last issue is the existence of significant scratches everywhere. There are many choices for carts on the market, no one should something at this price so badly handled.

This is a fantastic wagon and very solid. Designed very well and still relatively light weight. Only criticism is the metal mesh bottom which can dent from heavier logs throw in the back.

The poor rating does not reflect on the Gorilla trailer. We love it, as we do a couple of other Gorilla products that we regularly use. However, our crate arrived and was missing the chainsaw holder and the long tool brackets. We notified the seller, Spreetail, which refused to send the missing parts, instead asking us to exchange and to send back the entire trailer, after we already had torn apart the crate and assembled and used the trailer. I sent no fewer than three emails advising Spreetail of the problem, only to be met with this ridiculous exchange / send it back idea or a request for a serial number for the chainsaw holder and long tool brackets, which have no such numbers. We love Gorilla products, but hated our experience with Spreetail.
