The laptop itself is fine, but better pray you don't need tech support if you buy it through Amazon, even when the seller is Dell. When I contacted tech support, they said records don't have me as the person who bought it, and won't give me tech support. Meanwhile Amazon's pages say tech support is provided by Dell. ... show more

    • This laptop has been a total disaster for me
I invested in buying a brand new 9520 with upgrades from Dell last year so I could get the premium support plan because I needed a powerful device for my design consulting business. Within a few months this very expensive laptop wouldn't turn on consistently and would shut down mid-work. Many hours of tech support remote sessions and them replacing the mother board twice, no improvement. Hours spent escalating the issue until they replaced the device with the same, refurbished model. The refurbished model began having the exact same problem within a couple months. After several tech support remote sessions and a mother board replacement for the refurbished unit, no improvement. I've lost countless hours of work time (and therefore money). Given that I've now had two of these 9520s with the exact same problem, I think some percentage must be faulty. I'd steer clear, especially if you will depend on the laptop for income. ... show more
