  • Great Product, But Requires Technical Know-How
Size: 32G/512G SSD + 3T/GTX 1660 Super
***Updated*** I will be honest and transparent to what has transpired and have the emails to prove it. First, this is sold by SJ computers out of MN courtesy of Amazon, so I will not say anything bad about Amazon other than doing business with these guys. After posting this I was waiting on the new power supply to come in so I could install it. That was a Thursday I think and was told that they would send it and I would have it in 4 to 5 days. I then sent a inquiry in the buyer seller messages inquiring only to be sent a generic cut and paste email telling me that the "rgb headset" was lost in transit and they would send the power supply as soon as possible. Notice they forgot to change RGB to power supply. I asked in a reply where the proactive notification was that this was lost. No response but a phone call from Aaron who told me that they never actually sent the new power supply because they were concerned it wouldn't fit. So while on the call he told me that they would replace the model but I needed to send the computer back first. Now I objected to this as this was their fault and I shouldn't have to wait. After being told that their owner didn't take calls (Karen of me I know), I told them I would check with my son, who the computer was actually for and if he was ok with it. He agreed and so we boxed it up immediately. Now I was told by Aaron they would send it same day we sent the other back. Which we did. We have the new PC, drive is hooked up and running and my son loves it. Internal network sucks but we had another card we through in and it works great. Even though they resolved the issue I honestly would not buy another product from these guys as they are just shady. 1) To first allow a PC out of their store not as advertised without a quality check is unacceptable. They knowingly left the 3TB drive in the PC without power knowing there was not a connection from the power supply to connect it and if I did connect it that it wouldn't power it up. 2) They decided over those 4-5 days that the power supply they were going to send would not fit, yet found it OK to send a generic email response saying it was lost in transit where they only changed 1 product name from RGB headset to power supply. This proves it happens repeatedly and they have to cut and paste a lie to their customers who don't know any better or hold them accountable. Everything I have said is 100% fact with emails to back it up which they have acknowledged. Please be aware of who Amazon is relying on to ship their product as they may or may not be shady. _____________________________________________________________________________________I recently purchased this from Amazon, and overall, I'm quite satisfied with its performance. However, I feel it's important to share my experience with the initial setup, as it may help others who aren't as technically inclined. Firstly, I must commend the seller's customer support for their prompt assistance. After encountering a problem with the product, I reached out to them and had a FaceTime session to diagnose the issue. It turns out that the second hard drive was not powered on upon arrival, and the power supply included in the package was insufficient to support it. Thankfully, the company was quick to acknowledge the problem and offered a suitable resolution. They promptly sent me a larger power supply that will be able to handle the additional hard drive. I appreciate their responsiveness and willingness to rectify the situation. While I understand that technical issues can sometimes arise, it would have been more convenient if the product arrived fully set up and ready to use as advertised. This would have saved me the hassle of troubleshooting and contacting customer support. However, I must emphasize that if you're not comfortable with technical configurations or troubleshooting, you might encounter similar challenges with this product. It requires some basic technical knowledge to ensure proper setup and functioning, particularly when it comes to powering additional hard drives. In conclusion, I'm ultimately pleased with the performance and functionality of the product, just now waiting for the new power supply to install.. The company's excellent customer support and commitment to resolving the issue are commendable. Just be aware that the initial setup might require some technical expertise like going into Drive Management to format the second drive which they can provide a guide for if needed. ... show more

  • Good deal, serves its purpose well
Size: 32G/512G SSD + 3T/GTX 1660 Super
This is the 4th refurbished Dell computer I've purchased and they've all been solid performers. I got a small tower system that was label as a gaming PC so I could play Star Citizen with the grandkids. The Nvidia card included in the purchase performs adequately - the only hiccup seems to be the boot up screen (that says Dell) is a wreck but after about 2 seconds we're at my Windows login and it looks great on my 32" monitor. The 3Tb D: drive is a little noise but works well as my data drive. The SSD works well and has enough room to run the OS and Star Citizen from it without any problems so far. There are two dongles included thst aren't labeled but it appears that one is the network interface and the other shows up in my system devices as a headphone interface, but the system doesn't come with headphones. The internal speaker sound sucks, so be sure you have headphones or external speaker system. I love LEDs and ambient lighting so the aesthetic of this system fit right in with my other computer and overall studio vibe. I logged in as the pre-installed "user", added myself as another user on the system, assigned Admin access and then logged in as myself and removed the User account so "claiming" the system was easy. I put tha machine to work dowloading game files. The network stays connected while in use but does seem to have some kind of inactivity timer. I haven't checked the router data to see if I'm actually disconnecting and reconnecting or if the adapter itself just goes to sleep or something, but it hasn't timed out during active use. Depending on what's in the autoexec file, the computer has network hiccups for about the first half a minute it's on, like it takesonger to activate the wireless network dongles than expected. However, for less than $400 I got 32gb ram, 3 and half terabytes of storage, a 6 gb video card and pretty lights. I'm happy with the purchase. ... show more

  • Read the Reviews before buying
Size: 16G/128G SSD + 2T/GTX 1660 Super
This was an impulse buy. I didn't read the reviews and if I would have read the reviews, most likely I would have not bought this PC. This is definitely a starter gaming PC. . This PC comes with 128GB ssd drive and 2 TB HDD. . The graphics card is a GTX 1660 Super 6GB of memory which is decent enough to play games at high resolution. . Intel i5 . 16GB of memory What is not cool about this PC: 1. The SSD drive comes with the Windows 10 pro installed which takes about 118GB leaving about 65.7 GB left for games and the requirement for the game I want is 80GB of free space. So I had to install the game on the 2TB HDD which is 15x slower than the SDD. 2. The power supply is 290W (which is probably enough to play some games). But after the research I did, it showed that the graphics card while playing some games consumes about 200W of power and I believe the motherboards and other components may consume about 30 or 40W which to me is a bit to "tight". 3. Only 2 Memory slots with 8GB of memory card each. Don't know if this PC supports 32GB upgrade. I decided to buy a 500w power supply so to avoid any issues with the computer crashing because of power. I'm going to order a 1 or 2 TB SSD drive to replace the HDD on this PC so I don't experience unwanted load times due the HDD. It is really not a terrible problem. The game takes a few seconds longer to load than usual, but it just bothers me. Please REMOVE the protective packing that comes inside the computer!!! they added I'm assuming to protect the parts during shipping, see picture. I didn't know there was packing in there so when I started the computer, it showed an error message about the CPU fan not working and started beepping like crazy!! Other than that the PC works well. I can play my game in high resolution with no issues. It comes with a cheap keyboard and mouse which works well enough. ... show more
