  • Good Product
Style: I5/RX 550
My son has been using this for about 6 months now, and he has had no issues at all. It keeps up with all his gaming needs (and he games constantly). We have had no issues on anything with this product. It performs exactly how it should. We are completely satisfied.

  • Junk
Style: I5/RX 550
Do not order. I ordered three of these for my son and each one just got worse and worse. Wouldn’t boot up and then would just make a loud beeping noise, they’d replace it and same thing again and again: did not get another

  • Good deal, but not accurate description
Style: I5/RX 550
I paid $219 for my refurbished desktop. If I paid more, I'd be returning it for a refund, but at this price, I'm willing to deal with the issues. There is some false advertising in the item description, and some partial truth as well. I wanted something cheap that ran windows 11 and bought this before doing all my homework. There are a couple important things to be aware of with this computer: (this is probably the most important) #1) this CPU isn't technically supported by windows 11 as it's a 6th gen intel processor. Windows 11 only truly supports 8th gen+ intel processors, so there's a decent chance this computer will lose support at some point in the future. There are workarounds to install Win 11 on outdated CPU's (which is probably what the refurbishers did), but it's anybody's guess as to how long they'll actually receive updates. If windows stops allowing updates on this rig, you'll need to either switch to a different OS like linux (which is my plan if I get "obsoleted") or upgrade your motherboard, CPU, and probably upgrade to DDR4 or 5 RAM, which will all cost you a couple hundred bucks or more depending on how highly you want to upgrade. #2) this does not have DDR4 RAM. It has DDR3 RAM. I was wondering if the 6th gen processor and motherboard could handle DDR4, and I suspect the board is probably too old to handle DDR4 technology. What makes this slightly even worse, is that the task manager says all 4 slots are being used, so there are 4 cheap 4 GB DDR3 sticks, which may have an effect on stability of the system. 3) This may only affect me since my tech is generally old, but I had to buy new cords to connect to my monitor. The outputs include 2 mini-DisplayPort and 1 regular DisplayPort. I only have VGA and HDMI, so I had to order more from amazon and wait a few more days before I could get it set up. 4) the wifi and bluetooth seem unstable. They're both plugged into USB ports, rather than built in. I've had the wifi drop a few times in the ~1 hour having it up and running. Not a huge concern for me as I'll be hardwiring it in and I doubt I'll ever utilize bluetooth on it. Having said the negative, there are a few things I do like about this desktop as well 1) good value - this comes with a decent (but kind of old) processor, a 4 gb graphics card (which is more than enough for me), a 1 TB SSD and it came with a mouse and keyboard, which feel pretty cheap but still work out of the box. 2) my kids like the LED lights. I don't love how sparkly it is, but they do. 3) if I have to switch to linux, this thing should be a plenty powerful, stable machine for a lot of years. 4) it's nice and small ... show more

  • This one star represents my middle finger (spend your money elsewhere)
Style: I5/RX 550
I got this "gaming" computer for my 6 year old son. It came slightly damaged with nicks and the housing askew, I guess I should have expected this from a "renewed" system. Beyond that I get it hooked up and running, I set my sons profile up and install 3 of his favorite games, Roblox, Marble it up Ultra, and Marble it up Classic. These games are quite basic and only take up like 2GB of space and do not take much processing power to run. Problem is within 10 minutes of him playing Roblox the system crashes and there is no signal coming from the computer to the monitor. As you can imagine this is quite frustrating for my son and myself. Now I have to return this piece of junk and wait 30 days for my refund. If you are considering purchasing this product I would save your money and spend it elsewhere because this was a terrible experience, the seller and amazon should be ashamed of themselves. ... show more

  • Specs did not match the description
Style: I5/RX 550
The computer works, but the specifications did not match what was advertised. The listing stated one graphics card and one type of memory, but the unit I received came with different components. This was disappointing, as the hardware was a key factor in my purchase decision. Buyers should carefully verify the specs after receiving the product. Overall, it works, but the description was misleading. ... show more

Style: I5/RX 550
Purchased this PC as a starter gaming computer for my son. Went to fire it up on Christmas Eve to get it all set up, only to be hit with constant beeping as soon as it started up. The computer would turn on but there was no display — I checked all ports, tried 3 different monitors (all functional), and 3 different HDMI cords (all functional). Had an IT friend take a look and he said it looks like the motherboard crashed. Also, the computer is wrapped in this silver glitter wrap, looked absolutely ridiculous. I know there’s always concern with refurbished computers, but was not expecting issues right at startup. ... show more
