I'm a computer geek and often build my own and/or mod things to make them suit my needs...I decided on a refurbed Win10 machine to start with (as the cost wasn't much more than buying just Win10 on its own) planning to ultimately add more memory, bigger power supply and a graphics card etc. I am not sure what I was expecting from this purchase-- the price was low and it looked to have many really good solid components, so I bit the bullet and crossed my fingers that what arrived would be exactly what was described. I thought the machine would be a little beat up and the innards a little on the cheap and loud side regarding fans etc...and if that is what had arrived, I still would have been happy at the price point I paid. What arrived (a day early even) was a pristine shrink wrapped machine with components looking brand new-- not a speck of dust to be seen, not a scratch... or really any indication it had been used. I plugged it in to give it a once over to make sure everything was as it said it would be, with the plans to make the upgrades as soon as I determined everything was in order. It has worked so well-- utterly silent, quick, responsive, without a hitch (even with the on board graphics, 8GB of memory and kind of puny power supply)-- that it has allowed me to use it as-is for everyday tasks for over a week and not hurry to make the changes because I'm just not suffering regarding speed or graphics etc. Honestly this purchase exceeded my every expectation and I'd like to thank the people who took such care to rebuild such an outstanding PC at a great price. I really appreciate the great work- best refurb I've ever seen, hands down. If you just read emails, surf, shop and chat etc you wouldn't really even need to make any modifications for this to serve you for a few years at least. Easy setup, fast, randomly restarted twice... the first day...will keep a watchful eye. If this continues to happen after problem solving, I'm dropping the rating and it goes back! If it pans out, I will adjust the rating and add how it was stabilized. 5/18/21 Update e-mailed back and forth with tech support. Restarting issue resolved by having Me remove and clean all RAM sticks with an eraser. One RAM memory stick is defective. Now running on 3 of the 4 RAM memory sticks and no random restarting. Now I'm waiting to see how I get my faulty memory stick replaced. Also, I bought this tower on April 17th. I haven't been able to use this without it restarting while I'm working on something until today! 7/5/2021 update: this %=×/\ thing has been taking up to 10 minutes to come on for the past few days. Today, it just froze at the Dell Optiplex screen. After an hour, I had to do a hard power down. I contacted the seller. I only have a couple of weeks before the return window closes. This will likely go back! It's been far too frustrating and disappointing! 8/12/2021 - Update. First of all, AWESOME customer service. As you have read above, I had some issues with the first one I received. Customer service worked with me and shipped a new one out and provided return shipping for the defective one. I have had the replacement for about a month now and it has worked without issue and I am happy with my purchase! It does everything I need it to do and the setup was, again, extremely easy. I haven't installed Windows 11 on it, yet - crossing my fingers and hoping it is compatible. So much for Windows 10 being MS last version of Windows!     • Great value but a little different than advertised
The computer arrived on time and was in great shape. If it weren't for a few stickers on the side of the case you would think it was new. It booted up right away and has run great. All the hardware promised is there and Windows was installed. Mine even came with the Windows disk and a WiFi antenna. The only issue is that the case is not the one pictured. It is shown as having a normal size case while the one I got has a smaller, low profile case. For me it wasn't a big deal, but I can see how it might be for some. Another potential issue is the on-board video. It only has a VGA connector so you might need to get an adapter to make it work with your monitor. A quick fix is to get a cheap low-profile video card. I got the Radeon R7 240 for $40 and it works great. For another $40 I got another 8gb of memory. I use the computer for general office work, some Photoshop stuff and some light gaming (games like World of Warcraft) and it works great for all of those things. This was my first refurbished computer and so far I am very happy with it. ... show more

Well worth the money! I was expecting a lot less but the seller comes through on this one. For gaming, you WILL have to ad a video card and I think it will handle most games as long as you follow the recommended specs. Great Deal! Down side, the key board that they sent is crap. The "u" & "d" keys got stuck right out of the box. No big deal to me since I have a keyboard I intended on using anyway. Not worth knocking off stars because the PC is awesome. ... show more

Great Product, will buy from company again for electronic needs. Arrived a day early and package of the product was outstanding. Computer Tower is small and works with my computer desk. Very quiet and fast. Had the WiFi plug already installed on the back of CPU tower. Thanks Refurb-Ninja. UPDATE: "Very disappointed on this computer, due to the fact that the DVD/CD Drive went bad. Contacted Dell and they said that the warranty ended on and Expired 23 OCT 2014. I think that is wrong considering I purchased this refurbished desktop on November 12, 2018. Either I am going to have to pay out of pocket for a service place to put a new one in, get a portable DVD/CD machine, or something I don't want to do "THROW IT AWAY." ... show more
