Update: The wifi adapter it came with kept disconnecting and my downloads wouldn't finish. So I got a new one here and it fixed the issue. It was cheap. Otherwise, pc still running with no issues. Just received it today. Set up was quick and easy. Keyboard and accessories are cheap, but they work. My old wifi adapter didn't work with this, but the one they provided, along with the Bluetooth work great. Pc is fast. Win 11, all specs check out. Inside was clean. Only issue so far is a tiny screw that was loose inside the she'll. I sat it aside until I figure out where it goes. I still have to test how it handles my vsts and plugins for music. I was looking for a way to replace a Windows 10 computer that had suffered a major hardware failure when I ran across this computer on Amazon's website. It was less expensive than buying the parts and doing my own assembly. Setting it up was time consuming (even though I didn't have to spend time building it) but it works better than I had ever hoped it would. Boot time is fantastically short. unlike my old computer I can actually be productive in a minute or two, rather than the 10-15 minutes my old computer took. I don't use it for gaming but with photography as a hobby, I need good graphics. This computer fills the need nicely - right out of the box without any component changes. ... show more

Bought this June 2025 and it ran well until the end of August 2025 when it began to make a horrible loud noise w/ black screen alert saying CPU fan failure. I contacted the company directly and they offered me 2 options - send me replacement CPU fan or replacement tower. I chose replacement tower. They sent the tower quickly and it's working great with no complications. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars only because the original tower I purchased failed and caused me a bit of inconvenience but they replaced it without delay and provided excellent customer service assistance. I am a happy customer. This tower is a great price and the customer service was great, I will be purchasing future towers this way. ... show more

The last three home office computers I’ve bought have been refurbished Dell’s. They are a great bang for your buck and each have lasted 3-4 years. None of them were retired due to failure, they were replaced to get new OS and faster, more capable hardware. The case does show signs of wear with a few dings, but once plugged in, it sets up like a brand new machine. In 3-4 years, I will be looking for another refurbished Dell. I have to say I was skeptical ordering a renewed computer. I got it to replace my wifes old Dell desktop that was slower than molassas in winter. So I figured I would get her this one as it was a faster processor, more ram, and more storage capacity. It will do everything she wants and more. Well after getting it set up and data transferred the computer runs like a striped A$$ ape. Fast, and runs without a glitch. Sadly, I had to return the item for the simple reason that it wouldn't turn on. Period. There was a nice video online to troubleshoot this particular issue, but it didn't work either. I say "sadly" because the Dell Optiplex is a terrific computer. I've purchased it before. It was marvelous. I just happened to get a dud. The company and Amazon made it very easy to return, which reduced the stress. I'm grateful to them for this good service. Don't let one dud stand in your way of getting an Optiplex. I was hesitant to buy a refurbished PC, especially because of all the bad reviews, but I honestly couldn't be happier with this purchase. I now work from home, and my employer required me to get a PC with specific specs, but buying it brand new was way out of my budget. I've had this PC for a month now, and let me tell you, I've never worked on a computer this dang fast. When I start it up each morning, it LITEREALLY takes ONE minute or less for my sign-on screen to pop up. Once I'm in, everything opens up INSTANTLY! The very first start up prompted me to setup the PC with all my information and download Windows, even that was very easy and fast. Love the computer, but delivery was not what I expected. 1) WiFi dongle didn't work. It intermittently connected but disconnected within 1-2 minutes. I had to replace it, then I connected consistently to network. No worries, I have enough experience that I could get past this issue. 2) No CD drive was included as indicated in customer comments and the picture in the Amazon site. Amazon Tech Support referred me to Dell, but refurbished systems are not supported. Also referred me to refurb company which was not responsive. Guess I'll just buy a USB CD/DVD drive - not expensive, but not what I expected. ... show more
