I was looking for a Dell laptop that was smaller than my 15.6" one for travel and a refurbished one fit the bill. The seller Techrefurb was excellent when an issue cropped up with the battery and went out of their way to make sure I got a replacement before my trip by extra testing it ... in this day and age its hard to find responsive sellers like this. As for the laptop, it works like a charm, is lightweight and Windows 11 ready even though I made sure I got Windows 10 Pro (Enterprise) when I was looking for laptops. Will update review after using it for a trip and more in few months. ... show more

Amazon, I sent a cogent and thoughtful review previously, supported by imagery, which you deemed to be in violation of your guidelines. I don't know what part of my message was or could have been in violation since my comments were factual and supported by imaging. 1) The device was represented as "new" as supported by an image. 2) The device screen "floats" plus or minus 5 degrees, which is plainly defective. 3) The serial number of the device was marked out which is a deceptive practice calling into question the legitimacy of the Windows license. This is not the service I expect from Amazon or Amazon vendors. Regarding this PC, buyers; I suggest caviet emptor. I'll return the PC and if there are any issues I'll dispute the charge with my credit card company. Amazon, I suggest you have customer support contact me if you chose to mute this review, as plainly there is something deeply flawed with Amazon and the vendor.     • Great Value, Lots of Memory, but Runs out of gas too soon
I mean, it's a computer and does everything you expect from one. I don't know if it's my new headset or the new laptop, but I can almost go to the other end of the house without loosing connection. I also wanted Win 10 because 11 is a little incompatible with our software product. Thsi fit the bill. The only drawback is the battery; I don't know the advertised life when new, but this one expires a good bit before I can make it to my office in Texas. But, it spends 90% of it's work day on my desk, and it shines there. ... show more

Have had this Dell Latitude 7490 for 2 months. Good laptop. Like new condition. Lightweight. Very responsive touch screen. Plenty of storage for my needs. Battery life now is as advertised - 5 hours, charges quickly. The charger is some kind of off brand but it works. Only suggestion I have is that it would be nice to have a link to the manual. There was no documentation included at all. All in all a great value! ... show more

Very reliable equipment. I upgraded to 32G of Ram and Windows 11 pro. I could say that I have equipment for a couple more years. Battery will depend on what you will be doing with it.
