    • I was shocked 😲 at the great condition and value for this Dell Laptop.
I have had this Laptop for about 6 months, I have had no problems with it. It was pristine when I took it out of the box. When I did the update it still had the original software loaded from 2018. I don't think it was ever owned by anyone before me. I think it is important to say that the computer I got was just as advertised only better. I run Virtual Machines running Linux and Windows applications, I use USB portable computers that have to use the Grub Loader through the Bios. No problems, the machine just functions smoothly and consistently. I am very happy with my Dell! It still loads up in 24 seconds from a complete shutdown!!! ... show more

Tried to go the refurbished route to save some money. Appeared to be a decent computer at first. Was clean and looked brand new out of the box. Everything worked fine. My wife used this laptop for very light personal use, printing worksheets for homeschool...etc. I doubt it was in use for more than 20 hours since we purchased it. Recently the computer started to run very slow and eventually began to glitch when logging in. Everything locked up and became unusable. I took it into a repair shop and after 2 days of trying to repair / clean-up they called to say that there was a hardware issue and the unit could not be repaired. They said probably a bad mother board or something similar. Very disappointing. Would not recommend. ... show more

    • Great Value, Lots of Memory, but Runs out of gas too soon
I mean, it's a computer and does everything you expect from one. I don't know if it's my new headset or the new laptop, but I can almost go to the other end of the house without loosing connection. I also wanted Win 10 because 11 is a little incompatible with our software product. Thsi fit the bill. The only drawback is the battery; I don't know the advertised life when new, but this one expires a good bit before I can make it to my office in Texas. But, it spends 90% of it's work day on my desk, and it shines there. ... show more

Have had this Dell Latitude 7490 for 2 months. Good laptop. Like new condition. Lightweight. Very responsive touch screen. Plenty of storage for my needs. Battery life now is as advertised - 5 hours, charges quickly. The charger is some kind of off brand but it works. Only suggestion I have is that it would be nice to have a link to the manual. There was no documentation included at all. All in all a great value! ... show more
