This laptop has all the features I was looking for and I thought I would take a chance as it had an excellent return policy in case I wasn't happy with the product. Purchased Dell 5300 laptop, battery would not hold a charge. I contacted TEKrefurb. They told me to send the laptop back to them which I did. They sent me another laptop, which the other battery would not hold the charge and the screen was not connected. The kids that are outside There are all the place, and she said I have contacted them numerous times both on email by phone and through this site and I’ve had no communication with them since very disappointed. ... show more

This is a great purchase. You get the functionality of two devices in one computer. It is quick out of the box and with the option to upgrade the hard drive and add memory, which are relatively inexpensive, you can have am even more efficient machine.

I'm a little confused as to why it claims to have 256gb ssd when there is actually only 237gb. But what's 19gb? To some it's allot. And as the image shows... it's not due to the system files taking them up because the duel files are 30.6gb and they are taken from the 237gb account. Other than that, I've had no problems. It was already set up, so I didn't go through the set up process but it's OK with me. But if you're not on worth that then I'm sure you could rest it somehow. I've not had a problem with it yet. Purchased refurbished unit via Amazon Renewed Store. Everyting on the laptop is in pristine condition and working properly. The screen is excellent, has no scratches or stuck pixels or LCD burn in. Keyboard and mouse both clean and responsive. Indestinguishable from a new unit. The charger cable has perhaps seen some mild abuse as it appears permanently kinked in multiple places. Got this for my wife for work, she later didn't actually need it as she stopped being able to work due to health issues. However the laptop is great. It has a decent battery life on it, the screen is nice with both a 1080p resolution and accurate touchscreen. The tablet mode works though she really doesn't use it like that.
