The new CPU uses less power than the Intel i7 predecessor 14700. However, it runs at about the same speed as a practical matter. The 1 Tb NVME drive was about the size of a postage stamp as it is 30 mm long instead of 80 mm long. It was protected with heat tape between the chip and the mother board. It runs in a PCIe version 4 circuit. Ideally, it should have been a PCIe 5 circuit which would run as much as twice as fast as a version 4 circuit. I immediately replaced the 1 Tb NVMe drive with a Western Digital Black 2 Tb drive with a heat sink. When RAM is insufficient to run a task, Windows uses virtual memory on the hard drive (NVMe drive) to augment RAM. Hence, if the NVMe drive was on a PCIe version 5 circuit, it could run as much faster. Build quality of the enclosure is very good. Internal wiring gets in the way of accessing the empty SSD cage. The second NVMe socket. is easily accessed. I'm going to add a second NVMe drive, but will also see if I can safely access the SSD drive cage and install an SSD for data backup. The second NVMe drive will be used for creating system images. The Nvidia 5070Ti is very fast and runs on what looks like a PCIe version 5 bus. There is only room for a two fan video card.
