    • You can't choose the temperature, it changes every time you turn on the light

I can't recommend the "3 color" option of this light. It offers three temperatures of white, but there's no way to select the temperature. The light uses a cheap LED driver without dim switches or memory. So, EVERY TIME YOU TURN ON THE LIGHT, IT SWITCHES TO THE NEXT TEMPERATURE. It's hard to understand why this feature was considered a good idea, or if I just received a defect. The light looks nice, and I was excited to install it, but after realizing its major flaw, it's back in the box. It might be aesthetically pleasing, but working like this it's not very practical ... show more

We have a small "hallway" area where all of the bedrooms and one bathroom door are all together. The light fixture that is in that spot is decent but just looked out of place. It was a large size and took two bulbs and had an antiqued looking diffuser. We wanted something not so large in size and more modern looking but still plenty bright enough to provide bleed over light into the bedrooms and bathroom so that you didn't always have to turn on lights in each room to just go in and get something. This little light fixture is the perfect solution. It's a small form factor base, looks really nice and modern and puts out a really impressive amount of light in the 6500K (Daylight) range of light. That means it's the nice very white light, not the more yellowish like you get from incandescent bulbs. The fixture comes with everything you need to replace an existing fixture. It's very light weight so you don't have to worry about it sagging your drywall. There are included wire nuts to attach it to existing electric wires and there are properly threaded screws for attaching it to the ceiling fixture box. The instructions are very basic and just pictures. If you are uncomfortable working with electrical stuff, get somebody that is experienced to help you install this. Just be safe and make sure you open the circuit breaker for the fixture you will be working on before removing or installing. I had the old fixture off the ceiling and this new one in place in about 15 minutes total. It looks great and is really bright and since it's all LED, it requires less wattage than most other bulbs. This LED ceiling light is just what the entrance needed, but brace yourself as it takes a while to get used to how bright it is. Ultimately, It enhances the room and makes it look larger. We have 5-6k colors in the house and this one keeps switching. Easily 5 stars if there was a way to keep it locked on the choice of color, but not that big of a deal. ... show more

Such a cool light. Reminds me of the Celtic knot from directly underneath. Install is a breeze. All the provided hardware fit the fixture as well as the existing mounting holes inside of the junction box in my ceiling where my lines drop in. This can be easily installed by someone with very limited electrical experience in my opinion. The lighting the fixture provides is pleasing, but almost TOO bright white for my taste. I won't fault the light though, it illuminates my entire kitchen well without being annoyingly bright or flat-out blinding.
