    • Easy to use, easy to read, dims properly, nice sounding alarm selection
I haven't bought an alarm in 15+ years. I'd never thought about it before, but my bedside alarm is a big part of my day and this one is amazing and so much better than they used to be. It fully dims from several brightness settings. The bright LEDs can be turned up and easily seen at any angle across a bright room. The features all work correctly and intuitively (except I'm not sure about "Sleep set") and the snooze button is big and 99-1 more likely to be hit than the small turn-off buttons when half asleep. The base is wide enough it would not be knocked over when hitting snooze. It has two USB charging ports and a speaker + a headphone jack for the FM radio (though the wire is not readily replaceable). The thermometer reads about 1.0 degrees low on average versus my other thermometers. It takes 3 AAA batteries for the backup/not plugged in mode, and I mixed 3 random batteries so it does not seem overly picky about fresh, high-voltage batteries. The tactile feel of the controls is good. For an inexpensive alarm, this is probably a 5-star unit. 4-star at least, because maybe my standards are old and outdated. ... show more

Overall, I like this device, but I'm not sure it's totally doing what I wanted when I purchased it. I enjoy the light settings. The different sound/white noise settings are fine as well. I was worried about the sound quality of the speakers after reading other reviews - I haven't used the speaker to play music and probably will not, but I would say some of the prerecorded white noises sound better on the lower volume settings vs the higher volume settings. I use one of the white noise options on a timer when falling asleep at night and I enjoy it. I bought the clock specifically for the light feature with the morning alarm. I do think the light helps me wake up - when the alarm goes off. I am still troubleshooting, but I've had at least two days where I don't believe my first alarm actually went off in the morning (or I completely slept through it). Thankfully, I still set my phone alarm each day as a backup. I believe the issue is with my Wifi router being positioned in a room that is further from the clock - realistically, I don't think I can get my router much closer to the clock, so this is a bummer. I do get a little pop-up in the app that my Wifi signal is weak. My phone stays on the wireless charger all night, so the phone is definitely within range of the clock. This brings my next concern - the wireless charger does not always charge my phone to 100% overnight. I'm still not sure why this is - I have verified twice now that when I put the phone on the charger, it starts charging. At some point overnight though, it has stopped charging at least twice. It might be the charger, or it might be my phone overheating and stopping charging to protect itself - I have noticed that the charger and the phone get pretty warm relatively quickly, but I haven't actually observed it stopping charging - this has only happened overnight so far. Overall, I enjoy the lights & white noise features in the evening. When the alarm works in the morning, I do like it and I believe the light helps me wake up. Think about where your clock will be in relation to your Wifi router, and be aware that the wireless charging might not be effective for longer charging periods. I got this on sale for about $80 - I think if I bought it at full price (currently listed for $140), I would be a little more annoyed with the hiccups I've had so far. I'll keep the clock and keep these hiccups in mind when researching future purchases. ... show more

Overall, it's a decent product, but it's missing a few key features. For instance, setting the alarm requires the app, and unlike my phone, it only allows for two alarms—not ideal when you have an weekday alarm, a weekend alarm, and need a one-off alarm. Also, it didn't auto-adjust for daylight savings, which even my cheaper alarms managed. Quite a letdown. ... show more

I took several months trying to find the right one for me. And this is it. Very easy to set up and operate. I love the sleep sound timing and light choices. The alarm works great as you set how much time you want it to take to go from dark to daylight and quite to full wakeup alarm. Choices for sounds or a buzzer. Great for people with hearing issues. You can hear it. The combination of the sunrise wakeup and alarm has worked for me everytime. I love that the light and sound choices are for more than sleep, including relaxation and yoga. It's a great lamp as well for night. Just tap the top for your choice of light. The only thing I would like to see changed are the settings are on the bottom, so you have to pick it up to set the sleerp timer and alarms. The wifi and app work great. ... show more

I ordered a brown clock and got a white clock in a brown clock box. The ambient light stays on for a minute then fades out and then turns back on for another minute and fades out again. The brown noise setting crackles continuesly when on.

I love that you can set the rise and set on the app, and you can also use Bluetooth if you want to play white noise or nursery rhymes or literally just vibe. I personally use it in the nursery for my son to know when it’s daytime and nighttime and it works wonders.

This is a super cool multi functional device that is fun. I got mine on sale plus a coupon so that was also a bonus, but it was relatively easy (didn’t take too long/wasn’t extremely frustrating) to connect to wifi despite so many other reviews.. maybe I was just lucky. Sounds are fun, speaker is decent enough for what it is, the brightness is brilliant, can use as a lamp in my room, plus it charges my phone & AirPods! I want everyone I know to have one of these! ... show more
