I have been pouring resin for four years and have tried many different types but this by far is the easiest resin to use. It works well in cold or warm weather and mixes easily. I will never buy another brand. It's also very affordable because I haven't sold my stuff I really just do it as a hobby and give my pieces away.     • Too many bubbles and additional items not as described
I wanted to like this resin, But... 1. It says that it comes with silicone cups for mixing. This is not accurate. It came with plastic cups that were so tightly put together that all but one of the little ones was cracked and unusable. 2. Part A came in and was leaking. Not enough to make a huge issue out of it, and it was probably the shipping that did it and not the sellers fault. 3. Bubbles, bubbles, and more bubbles! It bubbles when mixing really bad. And after I pour, I think I've gotten all of the bubbles our, I check on my pour regularly and am always happy to not see bubbles. Then the next morning when I de-mold, there are tiny little bubbles all over. I've tried alcohol, flame, and heat gun, but to no avail. I guess you get what you pay for. This one was a little bit cheaper than some of the other options and I tried to save a few pennies. I will not be purchasing again. ... show more

I have been pouring resin for over 5 years now. I have always been a fan of the expensive Urethane resins such as Alumilite where you have to use a pressure pot to cure. Lately, I have been pouring some larger items and wanted an Epoxy based resin so I didn't have to cure under pressure. I have ordered around 30 gallons of this stuff over the past couple of years and the quality of the castings has always been AMAZING. I pour in 35 degree weather all the way up to 90 degree weather with no problems. Hint: when cold, I use a cardboard box with a reptile heating pad to warm the resin to 75 degrees before pouring. I have poured thin items of 1/8" all the way to 6" x 6" hybrid casts with no problems. This epoxy must be measured 1:1 by volume. If you use a scale in grams (more accurate) then your ratio would be 1.121:1 ratio. So if you would mix 56 grams of Part A to 50 grams of Part B for a total of 106 grams. This product has never let me down. I always stayed away from Epoxy Resins because of the smell. This product has ZERO smell and I cannot even tell it is curing on the far side of the garage. Another tip: This resin takes a while to setup (at least 4 hours). If you want to speed it up, you can put your mold in a small toaster oven at 130 degrees and it will harden in about an hour. ... show more

Not to bad. Has few bubbles. Seems to always come late. And sometimes the seal is broken on one bottle. Not sure if it’s the resin doing it or something happened. Good value, half the time it’s great and other times it flash cures or doesn’t fully cure. But could be my fault. Have hand mixer coming to see if that helps. ... show more

    • Product Never Cured/Ghosted by Customer Service
I have been pouring epoxy resin for about a year now. I had not used this product before and had another product that I did use regularly but was not available on Prime and I never knew when it would be delivered so I was searching for something with cheaper shipping (Prime) and would give me a delivery date. This product met that so I decided to give it a try. I bought a 2 gallon kit. Before I used any of it, I knew I would need more so I ordered a second 2 gallon kit. I used the entire first kit in two pours. I know epoxy resin can be temperamental so I followed the instructions exactly. Later, about 12 hours, it should have been cured. It was not. It was only a bit more cured than it was when I poured it. I left it for another 36 hours. It did not get better. I thought perhaps I had made a mistake so I threw that out and started over. It also failed. So, you might be asking, with the product being a total failure, why would this guy give it a four star rating. Based on other ratings, on Amazon and otherwise, I think the product in general is OK but I may have gotten a bad batch. Additionally, the customer service experience was second to none. The company wants to resolve my issue. I am perfectly willing to give this company another chance. UPDATE Allow me to apologize to anyone who based a decision to buy this junk. The company's customer service contacted me after I sent a message saying essentially that this product was bad. They asked that I leave a 4 or 5 star review and I could base it on their excellent customer service and they would give me a refund for the product I had used. Against my better judgement, I did as requested, sent them screen shots of my review. Had they done as promised I would have left the review as presented. That, however, is not what happened. I did the review a couple of weeks ago and have heard nothing from them since. So, I lowered the rating to one star. When someone asks you to give a better than deserved review basing it on their customer service and then ghosts you, they deserve what they get. I did send the second purchase, the one I said above I made before using the first, back to Amazon and got a full refund on that purchase. As for the first, I have thrown away every project that came from the product as well as the little bit left from the original purchase. That purchase I am now considering an expensive lesson learned. I will never buy product from ResinFans again and would encourage you to do the same. My experience with the product is, it is junk. My experience with Resin Fans is, you can't trust them. There are plenty of good resin brands here on Amazon. This is not one of them. ... show more

I have a 12 year old that is making jewelry and other trinkets with this epoxy. She has found it easy to use and dries fairly quickly and clear. Very happy with it overall.

Best resin for the price, comes with, cups, gloves, stirring sticks, etc. No bubbles. You actually only have to stir three minutes instead of 5 to 10 just to get bubbles out. Dried in 16 hours. So clear and perfect. I'm am a new customer for sure.......
