its kinda meh. i have 4 main negatives rights out the rip. first its very apparent how cheap this is made when you first pick it up. its very light for its size and it feels hollow. second the buttons are kinda off. they seem to have some latency almost like mario needs to lose some weight. 3rd there are a lot pf repeat games here. id say you have about 180 to 200 distinct titles im not sure why they start repeating tho. fourth it doesn't save high scores this is actually the biggest for me. idk but i feel like this would have a whole lot more potential if i could share with friends and each try to get the highest score. lucky two main factors negates all of the above. one its not a lot of money i could put up with most of the negatives just for the fact that it cost me $20 a side from the lack of memory for high scores everything is decent value for $20. two i got this as a gift for my 4 year old and i think his expectations for a Handheld are much lower than mine and he probably wont even notice anything i mentioned until hes older. if it even lasts that long. ... show more

My son loved it until the battery would no longer charge. Just as another reviewer said: I plug it in, red light comes on, you can play with it plugged in but it will not hold a charge.

A game boy this is not. But it is definitely worth the price-point IMHO. The controls are fine and the unit's screen is big and bright. It is no fun to play in the dark because of this. The games sort of seem to be repeating within the menu. Some of the games do not work/only have chinese characters but honestly - I got this for my wife who likes tetris and mario and it is pretty cool. The tetris is not like original tetris, there is not single-player-single-screen mode that we can find. Still fun and would make a great white elephant gift if your limit is like $20. ... show more

Pretty cool little handheld system … It’s filled with arcade classics such as Donkey Kong , Pac-Man , etc … lots of old school nes games such as ninja garden, Robocop, mappy, contra …as well as macross .. I was floored when I saw that one included . The screen is decent and well lit . The controls are decent .. the quality is ok … but for 19- 20 dollars … it’s a bargain ..still , treat this with care . Shipping was fast also .. which is a plus The second controller is good quality … I also like the fact you can hook it up to your tv .. Bottom line .. if you love old school games… this is a no brainer . ... show more

It’s got 500 games! The bad thing is, I think it would be better if it had 100, and I could pick the games to drop. You can’t hold the directional arrow up or down and scroll quickly, so it is a little tedious at times to get where you want. Also, the game I bought it for, Burger Time occasionally glitches in the middle of the game, and you lose that game. Oddly, I haven’t had it do this on any other game. The media could not be loaded. You can tell it's cheaply made...but seems durable enough for toddlers. My 3 and 5 year old boys are just tickled pink with it.
