It's sets nicely on our bathroom counter and doesn't take much room. We chose the option of using the drain hose right into our sink. It is very stylish and sleek and looks nice. Our adult kids even commented how nice it was. We are going to get another one for our basement bathroom when they are finishing remodeling it! UPDATE! Okay I had to add that I have 3 of these now! One in each our bathrooms. We live in a high humidity local, our bathrooms exhausts struggle with it after showers. I bought one for our master bath. It worked so good I have purchased 2 more for our other bathrooms. They work fantastic!! I'm amazed how much water they collect! Despite my hesitation, it actually works pretty well. I have a small bathroom and during the winter, the humidity spikes and my towels never dry. This thing is a beast. Now my towels are dry, my bathroom doesn’t smell of mildew, and the mold seems to have died down in the shower. Can’t speak on how long it’ll last but it seems to be basic enough to last a few years. It’s easy to use, just press a button and it runs. Easy to empty the water reservoir. I usually run it through the night or during the day when I’m home and it drops the humidity significantly. Highly recommend if the ventilation in your bathroom or small room sucks.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my small bathroom that has a tendency to develop mildew stains. I'm not one to squeegee the walls so this was by best bet. It does seem to be working and it helps after a steamy shower. I have it sitting on the tank of my toilet so the hose runs directly into the water tank. It was pretty easy to setup and use, just plug in the hose, plug in the power cord, and switch it on. It can be a little noisy if you are in a mood but otherwise I barely notice it. Update: after about 3 months of regular use it has started to produce a continuous rumbling noise (think idling car engine). I don't notice it much till I'm ready for bed, them it's all I can hear. Overall it still works, just not quiet like I originally purchased it for. Update to the update: it has gotten incredibly loud to the point that I'm afraid it will blow up. While it worked it did it's job but now I feel cheated. I would definitely not recommend.

I've gone through a lot of dehumidifiers for my Class C RV. You have to check them often or they'll cut off after their internal tank is full. This dehumidifier has an alternative drainage hose, so it never stops working! It's the best one I've used thus far. I love that I can just plug it in and let it drain into the sink (& my RV's gray tank) instead of having to worry about checking it so often or having it stop working.

This dehumidifier was exactly what I was looking for for our laundry room. We wanted to be able to close the door to the laundry, but we were concerned about moisture buildup, and there was no easy way to have an exhaust fan installed in there. This unit is small enough to fit discreetly on the shelf above our dryer, but it is able to pull an incredible amount of moisture out of the air. Having a drain hose that could empty right into the utility sink was a must, and this was one of the few compact units I saw that had this feature. I have been running this non stop for a few weeks now, and I have recommended it to so many people.

It does its job but it's slow to pull moisture from the air. I empty the small tank every three or four days. For comparison, I have a 30L tank that I can empty once or twice a day depending on the humidity level (but it's more powerful). I use it when I travel and keep it by my bed in hotel rooms. It fits nicely in my suitcase because of its size. Humidity triggers asthma for me so having even something small like this can help a little in humid climates. It made my recent trip to Florida comfortable.

I got this mini dehumidifier to remove excess moisture from my camping trailer in storage. Trailer is a Casita, a well sealed, insulated fiberglass "egg". While many folk use damp-rid to keep moisture down, it seemed wasteful to use and throw away, so i investigated small electric dehumidifiers. This was the smallest i found, had good reviews, and almost no returns. I plugged it in and within a couple of hours had ~half inch of water in reservoir. Walls (carpeted) now feel warm and dry, where they previously felt cool and damp. Online and in manual, they emphasize that the unit is not effective below "normal room temp". So I use a small electric heater to raise interior temp to 70°F. At that temp, the unit seems to do an excellent job. I expect we will take it camping with us to minimize moisture build up in addition to use during storage. It is small and unobtrusive, and the fan noise will satisfy my wife's desire for "white noise" while sleeping.
