But be aware this will NOT work with a smart plug or external timer because when the power is shut off and then restored, the unit returns to its home state requiring the user to physically push the buttons to restart it. So this can't really be used remotely or in a vacation home for example where you want to run it for 2 hours every day. You can only use it at a location where you will be physically present. This small thing is a powerhouse! I needed a dehumidifier for my home office because I have a 70 gallon open top fish tank that makes the room super humid and damp when the door is closed. The machine started pulling moisture out of the air almost immediately. There was no complicated set up involved. It was just plug in and go. I like that it will give you an indication when the water tank is full and stops collecting moisture so it doesn’t overflow. Smaller than expected (for the original price - I brought it on sale) but perfect for my needs as it's for a small bathroom. The tubing bent a little too much during shipping but with a little squeezing (it's plastic) I was able to get it where the water flows better. I just set it up but filled the water tank with water to make sure it will run out fine. Light works but still figuring out the different colors. They speak about the "loud" sound but to me it's not very loud. It's a light noise in the bathroom that I can slightly hear in the bedroom but there is a "sleep" noise level option that does decrease the sound. The power cord is long enough, and I love the timer function and that it does have an auto shut off once the collection tank is full. Overall seems like a great machine. ... show more

I’ve tried a few dehumidifiers in the past, but this one truly stands out thanks to its smart design, quiet operation, and thoughtful features. Moisture Removal Power: The dual-core semiconductor tech really works- within a day of using it in my small basement room, I noticed a significant drop in humidity and musty odor. It’s also great in bathrooms after showers. Just make sure to keep the door closed for best results. Whisper-Quiet Operation: This is by far the quietest dehumidifier I’ve owned. At under 30 dB, it’s barely audible-even in sleep mode. I’ve been using it in the nursery, and it doesn’t disturb naps or bedtime at all. Auto Shut-Off & Drainage Options: The 2.5L tank lasts quite a while before needing to be emptied, and I appreciate the auto shut-off feature to avoid spills. I've had this dehumidifier for a little under a month and it's the perfect mix of portable and effective. I live in a 600 square foot condo, and I move the unit from the kitchen to the bathroom as the situation warrants. The small size, light weight and the little handle make moving the unit back and forth super easy and quick task. The only criticism I can think of is the noise of the unit is occasionally disruptive while I'm working (about 15 feet from the unit's location). I don't believe a silent dehumidifier exists, so I wasn't expecting the impossible, but that's the only downside I can think of. Otherwise, it's a great value and user-friendly. ... show more
