This thing is Chinese junk from top to bottom. You’ll notice how incredibly cheap it feels the second you remove the water tank—flimsy plastic, poor fit, zero quality. It doesn’t pull any moisture out of the air… at all. Even in a damp room, it couldn’t fill the tiny tank in three days. For its size and form factor, it’s embarrassingly underpowered. Honestly, it feels like a scam. I’m starting to wonder if the electricity it draws costs more than it’s worth. Oh, and it lights up like a budget gaming PC—great if you want a useless light show, not so great if you actually want a functioning dehumidifier. Avoid at all costs. ... show more

    • Perfect for our basement!
We started getting condensation on our furnace while running the air conditioning. Set this up and the moisture was gone after a few hours! I love that it has a hose to empty the tank into the well where our dump pump is.

    • Get a larger model
I bought this model and a larger (more expensive) one. This model doesn’t do much and I would not recommend it. However, the larger dehumidifier I bought shocks me how much water it pulls out of the air.
