⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I got this dehumidifier for my kids' dorm room, and it's been a total lifesaver! Humidity can be a real issue, but this little machine handles it like a champ. It’s super efficient at pulling moisture out of the air, and with its large water tank, we don’t have to empty it constantly—perfect for busy college life. One thing I love is the auto shut-off feature. If the tank gets full, it automatically shuts off, so there’s no worrying about spills or messes. The red light that flashes when it’s time to empty the tank is a nice touch, too. What really sold us is how quiet it is. The sleep mode is barely noticeable, so it doesn’t disrupt their sleep or study time. I have a (usually) quite dry basement of about 900 sq ft. I had a water main break just outside and enough water leaked in to give the place a wet floor and that damp musty odor. Also, not surprisingly, my hygrometers (some digital cheapos, some laboratory grade) show a humidity problem. So I set up several dehumidifiers, this being one of them. But it's useless, both in absolute terms and compared to the other dehumidifiers (which are nothing great, themselves). Like too many other small dehumidifiers sold today, this one has a bunch of unlabeled buttons on front and a remarkably uninformative display of mystery numbers. Really, why can't they just put on a simple mechanical on/off switch? There is an instruction pamphlet but it's completely useless. And the unit has weird blue lights which I suppose are entertaining but serve no function. The bucket which collects what little water this unit can produce is on the back - an exceptionally dumb place for it. But does it dehumidify? Well, sort of - just the tiniest bit. My other dehumidifiers in the same area accumulate dozens of buckets of water while this feeble unit has yet to manage more than a few cups. 900 square feet? I doubt it could do 9. To be fair, it IS quiet . . . but for all the good it does, it might better be dead silent. Utterly worthless. Zero stars.

Every time I hang up a pair of jeans in my basement to dry they always seem to stay damp. When looking for dehumidifiers, it always seems so hard to judge what size to get. My basement is 30 ft x 30 ft and ceiling to floor is 8 ft. This little dehumidifier is awesome! I set it at the highest level (3) . I emptied the water reservoir 3 times over 4 days. It totally sucked all the moisture out of the room! Now my jeans are dry! Also, on day 5 the dehumidifier shut off. I thought it was broken. I set it back to level 3 and it shut off. I checked the instruction manual. The dehumidifier will shut off if there's not enough moisture for the level you have it on. This thing sucked my basement dry! So now I keep it on level 1. It's not silent but it's not loud either. My table top fan makes more noise.

Put this in a old 70s style camper that's still nice but smelled a bit moldy. It's steadily improving and has not frozen up like other brands because of the feature which warms the dehumidifier. We haven't had real cold weather. But we have a small heater in the camper as well. Lights aren't bright, but I like the feature that allows you to stop and use one color. I set it for green.

I bought two units and tested them during a high humidity day in two separate places in the house. They did produce a bit of water in their trays, but the humidity change was not noticeable as measured. The units are small and under-powered. Returned.

It’s the perfect size for a garage. I keep it plugged in all the time. It collects the water in a tank or a drain hose can be attached. I run a drain hose down the drain. It’s easy to use and is very quiet compared to other dehumidifiers. I also like that it shuts off when the desired humidity level is reached. It’s a great product at a great price.

I put this in our bathroom with 3 showers a day it was creating table spoons of water a day. I would not recommend.
