The media could not be loaded. I love finding something new and different to try. This is one of my best finding. I ordered it on Wednesday. It was here the next day. I actually thought it was bigger than what I got. So, I was a bit skeptical. I read the instructions, which were very clear. It has a sleep mode and ambience light mode. You only to barely touch the buttons to activate them. After thinking about it, I decided to try placing it in three different areas for twenty four hours. First night was in my bedroom. I was very surprised at how quiet it was. Barely a whisper. I totally enjoyed how the colored lights would change smoothly from one color to another. I decided, since the machine was already quiet, I wouldn't use the sleep mode. Needless to say, I slept very well. Next day, I checked the water tank. I didn't think there would be anything in it. Imagine my surprise when I found at least a couple of tablespoons in it. Impressive. Next, I placed it between the bathroom and my dressing room. Since I showered daily, I thought it would be a good placement. This time there was about half a cup full of water. Great! So, last placement was the counter between the kitchen and living room. Right outside the living room window is the apartment complex garden area. It has a nice size water fountain that flows twenty-four-seven. I was kind of curious if there was moisture coming into the apartment from it. Nothing felt damp, but, you never know. To be honest, I actually left the dehumidifier on for two days instead of one. I was busier than usual so I forgot. When I finally checked it, I was more than a little surprised! I tried to remember if I had emptied the tank before turning it on that day. I was sure I did. I should have measured it, but I think it was about half a cup of water in the tank! Way cool! The other thing I did notice was the air in my apartment smells different. Maybe fresher? All in all, I am very pleased with the dehumidifier. I plan to buy another one and tell my family and friends about it. They know me well enough to know I won't recommend anything I don't believe in! I do suggest that, if you are not going to use it for a few day, you clean it up, and make sure the tank is empty and dry. I always keep the box,if possible to store it in. I hope you will be as pleased as I am with my purchase!

This little dehumidifier is working well (I need to empty the tank about every 4 days). Living so cloae to water I think I need a bigger dehumidifier, though, or maybe more of them.

I bought the KNKA dehumidifier in black and this little powerhouse effortlessly absorbs excess moisture, keeping room humidity below 45% according to my Sensi thermostats. It has banished the dampness from my upstairs bathroom and walk in closet. Within just 12 hours, it managed to collect a surprising amount of moisture (almost half the tank!). One of the standout features for me is its automatic shutdown protection. It intelligently halts operation when the water tank reaches full capacity or if it's not correctly positioned, eliminating any risk of overflow. Using it in this hot and humid area (this area is above my garage and then the hot attic is above them) is already giving me great results! With its generous 95-ounce water tank, I don't have to worry about frequent emptying either. Covering an impressive 850 square feet, this dehumidifier is perfect for larger spaces. Despite its powerful performance, it operates quietly, especially in sleep mode, where the noise level dips to a mere 30 decibels. You can watch the video to gauge the sound level during operation and button presses! Setting it up was a breeze since you practically pull it out of the box and just plug it in. There is a little piece of tape holding the collection tank on the back that you peel off, but that is it. A few buttons control its various functions, including power, lights, and sleep mode. Worked for a couple of months and now won't start. I've emptied it out and tried to clean it but everytime I press the button, it just beeps multiple times back at me. Do not buy. Not worth the money nor the hassle.
