I like the fact that you have the option to use drain hose to drain water, saves on having to empty every day. Controls are really simple…. Too simple maybe. Also it does not have a humidity sensor on the unit so can’t really tell if it’s working well or not except by how much water it pulls. About half of its little tank a day in an AC cooled room in south Florida. Take that for what it’s worth. Was kinda expecting more water. I have bought a humidity sensor to go along with it, 2 in fact so I can read the room it’s in and another for comparison. We shall see. I gave it 4 stars based on price and ease of use. ... show more

Small machine, but it sucks in a lot of water quickly. I empty it out every 5-6 days, so it’s definitely working. Night mode is pretty quiet.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this after moving into the bottom unit of my new house and feeling like the bedroom (which is technically in the basement) had way too much moisture. I was experiencing my bed and pillows very wet and it was very uncomfortable to sleep. Although this is advertised to work better in an extremely small space like a closet I wanted to give it a try in my small bedroom which is about a 10 x 12 room. After reading the included instructions, I plugged it in and let it do its thing. It directs me to keep in running for 48 hrs straight on the first power on. After the first day the tank was 1/4 full (tank is quite large a can hold quite a bit of water before emptying). Second day same result so I knew this small but mighty dehumidifier was doing its thing. I wish the cord was longer but for such a small appliance it works incredibly well and I am so happy that it has made all the difference in the bedroom and I can actually sleep really well! When it is on there is just a small hum but usually I do not even hear it and it’s also energy efficient so it does cost a lot to keep on. I like that it gives the option of using the tank to collect the water or the included hose to drain out into another location so you do not have to keep emptying the tank! Love the digital display and this comes with some cool features and a very sleek and modern design. I tested this dehumidifier in my laundry room, and after 24 hours without any clothes drying in there it collected about 8 oz of water. I think this is quite good performance for a normal ambient indoor environment. There are a lot of things I like about this dehumidifier: -It is fairly quiet, and the noise it makes is not unpleasant so it won't interfere with sleep -It performs well and collects a lot of water from the air -It has the option to use a drain hose so you don't have to empty the tank, and it even comes with the drain tube and an extra drain hole cap -It has the option for a plain white light. Most of these dehumidifiers have only gaudy color options, but this one has white as one of the options which is nice -While it doesn't include a filter, it has a place to put one if you get filter material and cut it to size. -Nice minimalist look The only con is that it will flash the reservoir red when it is full even if the dehumidifier is off or in sleep mode. This means that it may not be a good option for a bedroom as it may start flashing red in the middle of the night if it gets full. ... show more
