It has different speeds, and the sound level depends on the speed. It's not very noisy and it has a night mode with adjustable lights. In a very humid environment, it takes about 3 hours for the water container to fill up completely, while in a less humid room, it can last all night.

I have this running in my bathroom of my fifth wheel. My dryer is running and sonce this covers 509 sq feet there is no way my ceiling should look like this. My other dehumidifier was futher away from yhe dryer and kept us moist free.

Product is very quiet, perfect for small spaces. I purchased for my rv. You do have to check it every day due to the 24hr run time limit. I would prefer a unit to run constantly until full.
