I just got one of these two and a half days ago and I’m so pleased with how well it’s working! Here’s a photo I just took showing how much water it’s pulled out of the air since I plugged it in two and a half days ago. I’ve run it most of the time, but not all the time because I’m assuming it needs some time to rest off. It was super simple to set up and the directions are simple. Basically I only had to plug it in and turn it on. The cord is about 5 or 6 feet long; it would be nice if it were a few feet longer but that’s okay. I chose this dehumidifier over another, slightly cheaper option, because I didn’t want the kind that has to detach from above the water reservoir and be set aside while pouring away the water. I appreciate the sturdiness and ease of this model, that lets me slide the water reservoir out and go pour away the water, then easily slide the water reservoir back in place. The effectiveness is very good. After the first 24 hours my apartment felt better and there was about 3/4” of water. Another day and a half later, and my apartment feels very good, and there’s about an inch and a half of water. I didn’t measure exactly but you can see in the photo. I like this so much, I’m getting a second one. Although my apartment is small and I believe the first one is effective enough for the entire square footage, the layout doesn’t allow enough air flow, so I’m going to place the second unit in the living area to really get the full effect everywhere. It’s fairly quiet, definitely makes a lot less noise than the air conditioning units in the walls. So the soft whir it makes is no problem for me at all. As for the light, at first I assumed I’d turn it off (which I did once), but now I like it, so I can see the water level easily plus know that the dehumidifier is on. I’m really happy because I’d learned the previous tenant experienced a little mold in a closet, and when I started feeling the humidity and realized the room air conditioning units (there are two of them) weren’t dehumidifying, I realized I needed a dehumidifier. I’m amazed by the advances in technology that makes this small unit affordable and effective. I’m really happy about this! I’m going to recommend this to my neighbors. The quality of the unit including its materials is very good. It looks nice, feels sturdy, easy to wipe clean (though I haven’t had to yet), and the water reservoir is a nice acrylic type of plastic. The timer is easy to set so I appreciate that it can turn off automatically to have a rest, since I don’t know if I should let it run all the time. I definitely recommend it, and I’m recommending it to my neighbors. I’ve ordered a second one (just because of my apartment’s layout as I mentioned), and I’d buy it again. God bless!

It's been under a month and this machine is amazing! I can believe how much moisture is in the air of our home. This one is sitting in our lower level (tri level home with a crawl) bathroom on the counter. In a week, the machine is over half full. Best investment for us. Water removal is quick and easy. Pull the drawer out. Lift the cover and dump the water down the drain. Done! Noise level is minimal. Like a small circle fan. There is an option to turn on the built-in nightlight. Very useful if you want to see without turning the light on in the area.

This is my personal opinion and experience. It works fine as stated. But what I didn’t understand is when I was enclosed with it in a room , it emitted a strange smell caused me to get very illed. I searched everywhere in my house to find the culprit, not know it was coming from the device. I immediately disconnected it and tossed it in the garbage. For me it posed a health hazard.

A great size for my travel trailer. I leave it plugged in to shore power in between trips, but I don't want to deal with the problems that occur with the high humidity where I live, so I got this to dry the interior out. I works really well, pulling a noticeable amount of water out of the interior atmosphere. It has an automatic shutoff, so I'm not worried about leaving it running unattended for days at a time.

This Dehumidifier was purchased for use in our RV. We are located in the gulf south that is very humid about 90% of the year. I have not tried the unit in the rv yet but set it up at home for a test. Unit is very quiet and arrived on time and we'll packaged. Use is quite intuitive. LED lights are cute but certainly not necessary and contribute nothing to function as a humidifier. I ran it for 47 hours during which it extracted about 4 oz of water from the air at 60% ambient humidity. In comparision our other humidifier removed over 47 liters of water during the same period. I will test this in the rv before deciding whether or not to return. Based on initial testing, this unit does remove moisture, but not very effectively.

It does pull moisture out of the room. It doesn't get the humidity down as far as I'd like, but that's my fault. I should have paid more attention to the product information as to room size and product size.

I am actually impressed with this lil unit. When the box arrived I saw on the outside that it only works in high humidity so I was skeptical. But with my basement bedroom at 68% humidity, I got a good amount of water on the first night. So I am pleased with it. The only thing I do not like is the led light, it cycles through colors and that is the only option other than off. I wish it had the ability to choose a solid color. It's also very quiet, all in all I'd recommend this for a small space.

Easy to assemble and use. Got it for a bedroom as the bathroom is right off the room and causes humidity after showers. Noticed a big difference after 48 hours of use. It’s no louder than a small desktop fan, yes this model has automatic shut off if there’s power surge or when the tank is filled. I like the ambient coloring it doubles as a soothing night light. The tank glows solid red when it is full and needs to be emptied so it is very noticeable and easy to read. It’s not as fancy or high powered as some other models but it works well in my 400sq ft area that needed a little extra attention. My humidistat gauged the room humidity dropping from 60% on average to 48-50% it helps a lot.
