Sleep Mode Keeps The Bedroom Comfortable At Night
I wanted the air in the bedroom less sticky without a loud box next to my head. This dehumidifier sits on a low dresser now. Sleep mode is the setting I leave on after lights out. I can hear a soft pull of air if I listen for it, but it does not sit on top of talk or the show I leave on low. Sheets and the duvet do not feel clammy when I roll over. That was the whole point of putting it in this room. Aromatherapy tray got a few drops of the oil I already had in the cabinet. LED light has a cycle and a static option. I ran the cycle for a minute to see it, then turned the light off so the room stays dark. High speed is for late afternoon if the room sat closed all day. I switch back before I get in bed. Two modes. One button. I do not need more than that. Tank slides out and I empty it in the bathroom sink. Auto shut off cut power when I left it running longer than I meant to, and nothing spilled on the dresser. Drain hose is an option I have not used in this room because I do not want a line across the floor at night. Compact size means it does not look like shop gear next to the lamp. Handle is there if I decide the spare room needs it instead. I close the bedroom door while it runs, which is what the paper in the box said to do. Air in the morning feels drier on my face. I do not track numbers on a screen. I just notice the window glass does not fog from the inside the way it used to, and the closet door in that same room does not push out that dull smell when I open it. That is enough for me to keep this unit where it is. Tank, sleep mode, door shut. Repeat. ... show more

Small Unit Moves From Room To Room
I keep picking this dehumidifier up and walking it to wherever the air feels thick. Living room one afternoon, hallway the next, then the spare room. The handle is only a cutout, but it is enough. Compact body fits on a side table without eating the whole surface. I do not plan a permanent spot for it. I just set it down, shut the door on that room, and let it run. High speed pulls water faster when a room has been closed. Sleep mode is what I use if I am sitting in the same space with a book. I tried the aromatherapy tray with a light oil and left the LED on a slow cycle for a bit, then shut the light off because I did not need extra glow. Tank clicks in from the front. The unit will not run if that tank sits crooked, which I found out when I shoved it in at an angle and a warning light came on. Auto shut off stopped it when the tank filled while I was in another part of the house. Drain hose came in the same box. I ran the hose to a sink once just to see continuous flow work. I like that I can leave the unit and not babysit the tank. Same machine covers a bathroom after a long shower and a closet the next day. Air feels less heavy in each spot I park it. I am still figuring which mode I want in which room, but there are only two and the button is on top. I tap it and walk away. Handle makes the move between rooms a one-hand job. I do not keep a notebook on this thing. I notice the air on my face and whether the tank has water in it. That is the test I use. ... show more

the biggest differences for me
I bought this dehumidifier because my apartment is on the first floor and has a backyard, so unfortunately my bedroom doesn’t get a lot of direct sunlight. I’ve noticed that the room can feel particularly damp, especially when the weather is humid. Even when the temperature is comfortable, the air sometimes has that heavy, slightly damp feeling that makes the bedroom less comfortable. I wanted something that could help keep the room feeling drier without having to constantly open the windows or rely on the air conditioner. This dehumidifier has been a really useful addition to the room. I usually let it run when the bedroom starts feeling humid, and I can actually see the water collecting in the tank, which is a good reminder of just how much moisture was in the air. The water tank is a practical size for my needs. It’s easy enough to check and empty, and I like being able to see the collected water instead of having to guess whether the machine is actually removing moisture. I also appreciate that this unit is designed for up to 1,000 square feet, which gives me some flexibility beyond just using it in one small corner of the bedroom. For my apartment, I like having the option to move it to another area when needed. One of the biggest differences for me is the overall feeling of the room. When the bedroom has been running the dehumidifier for a while, the air feels less heavy and damp. Bedding and clothes also seem to feel more comfortable rather than having that slightly clammy feeling that I sometimes notice in humid weather. ... show more

Move wherever the trend is
I didn't fix this dehumidifier in one room. I put it in the bathroom when it's damp after taking a shower, and moved it to the guest room when it gets a little stuffy. The body is not heavy, so moving it back and forth will not be troublesome. When there is no one in the room during the day, I will turn on a stronger setting, and at night when someone is resting, I will switch to the quiet mode, and the sound will be much softer. The amount of water in the water tank is easy to see, and it will automatically stop when it is full, which saves me a lot of worry. If you plan to keep it in one location for a long time, you can also connect it directly to the drainage pipe to avoid having to pour water all the time. I only use aromatherapy and lighting occasionally. The main reason is that it is light and has two levels of practicality. I can put it wherever I feel it is trendy. ... show more

Quiet Enough to Run Overnight
I’ve been moving this dehumidifier around the house instead of leaving it in one permanent spot. It’s light enough that carrying it from the bathroom to the spare room or another damp area doesn’t feel like a chore. That flexibility has actually been more useful to me than I expected. I usually use the higher setting when a room is empty and switch to the quieter mode when we’re around or when I leave it running overnight. The lower setting is much less noticeable during normal household activity, while the stronger setting is what I reach for when I want to work on a room more quickly. The water tank is easy enough to keep an eye on, and the automatic shutoff is reassuring when I’m not standing nearby. Once the tank is full, it stops instead of continuing to run. I also like having the option to use the drain hose if I decide to leave it in one place for a longer stretch rather than emptying the tank repeatedly. The aromatherapy feature is more of a little extra for me. I don’t always use it, and I usually leave the lights off, since the main reason I have this running is moisture control. Between the portable size, two useful modes, and the ability to move it wherever I notice dampness, it has been a practical addition around the house. ... show more

Excellent moisture control for the basement
Switching it right onto the high speed mode immediately got the air circulating. You can physically feel the machine pulling the excess moisture from the room, making the basement feel much more comfortable and breathable within a very short amount of time. It extracts surprising amounts of water from what seemed like normal air. The entire mechanism feels very secure, which gives me tremendous confidence in leaving it unattended for long periods. The safety features built into the system are incredibly well thought out. I specifically like how the machine responds if the tank is not seated exactly right. The red light will illuminate immediately to warn me, and the system refuses to run until I fix the placement. This prevents any accidental leaking. Once the tank is completely full, the auto shut off kicks in instantly. I can go upstairs and go to bed knowing the machine will stop itself before any water spills over the edge. Moving this unit around the basement is remarkably simple due to the built-in handles. Even though it is a sturdy machine, it is lightweight enough to carry from the laundry area over to the storage room without straining my back. Since my basement has a floor drain, I plan to hook up the drain hose for continuous operation very soon. That will eliminate the need to empty the bucket entirely, allowing the machine to just run in the background day and night. The sleek look is just an added bonus, making it look like a high-end appliance sitting in the corner. It is very rare to find an appliance that balances power with such a compact footprint. ... show more

Protecting fabrics and maintaining fresh closet air
The semiconductor condensation technology inside this machine works exceptionally well. It silently pulls the dampness out of the air without producing any massive amounts of heat, which is vital in a small enclosed closet. I constantly keep it running on the lower setting, and it is so quiet I cannot even hear it when the closet door is closed. I never have to worry about my delicate silk shirts absorbing any strange odors or feeling heavy with ambient room moisture. It works efficiently every single hour of the day. The machine just continuously does its job, protecting my wardrobe investment round the clock without drawing any attention to itself. What really surprised me was the built-in aromatherapy diffuser. Closets can sometimes develop a stale odor just from the sheer volume of fabric packed into them. I placed a tiny cotton pad with some cedar essential oil inside the diffuser section. Now, every single time I open the closet doors, I am greeted by a remarkably fresh, fragrant environment. It mimics the scent of a custom cedar closet for a fraction of the cost, completely eliminating any trace of mustiness that used to linger in the corners.Operating the device could not be any simpler. All it takes is a quick tap on the button to select the mode that suits my exact needs. Sometimes I will switch it to the higher setting after I run the steam iron in the bedroom, just to clear out the extra humidity quickly. The custom control lets me adapt to whatever the day brings. The water tank slides out effortlessly when it needs emptying, and the whole process takes less than a minute. ... show more

Great addition for small living spaces
Setting up my living space inside a travel trailer means every square inch matters. Space gets incredibly tight, and adding bulky appliances is simply out of the question. I unboxed this dehumidifier a short while ago and was thrilled with the compact size. It fits exactly on the narrow shelf right above my main sitting area without hanging over the edge. It looks quite sleek sitting there, blending into the background rather than sticking out like a sore thumb. Moving it around is super easy because of the built-in handles, so shifting it from the main cabin to the sleeping quarters takes zero effort. The continuous operation feature is exactly what a small space needs. By attaching the included drain hose, there is absolutely zero need to monitor the water tank or worry about it overflowing while I am out running errands. It pulls the excess moisture out of the air continuously, draining straight into the sink. Dealing with damp air in tight quarters can be incredibly frustrating, but this machine takes care of it entirely on its own. Running the machine on the sleep mode makes a huge difference at night. The noise level drops down so low that it basically fades into the background. It never disrupts my sleep cycle, which is crucial when the unit is only a few feet away from my bed. Knowing it has an auto shut off feature gives me peace of mind too, just in case the hose gets bumped out of place. It is a very practical machine for compact living. ... show more
