The ottomans look nice and feel sturdy, but mine came with imperfections. There are marks on the lids that are not smoothing out, and the roundness isn’t even, there’s an area where it’s flat. I’m still undecided if I should return and exchange them, because for the price, they should be in excellent condition. Also, other reviewers are right, if you have younger kids, consider other items because the metal part is pretty sharp. If you move it and you’re not careful, you could cut the velvet. I read the reviews from other site for similar product, a mom had to take her kid to the ER for stitches. Originally, I wished they were both the same height height and size. I felt the smaller one was too short. But, now I love it. I think it gives it character. I store my smaller ghrow blankets in there and it looks good displaying a decorative piece on top.
