I am very pleased with this garden kneeler. It has the right amount of comfiness on my knees, especially with the extra pad. The sturdiness of it is great & holds up to my heavy weight. The added side pockets are nice and hold the tools I need. It does take a bit of pressure to get the buttons down to fold it at first, but after a bit it is better & it does fold nicely & is very light weight to move around.

The stability. Purchased for inside use. I have had reconstruction back surgeries, am 74, and need assistance to get close to the floor to clean moldings and spills. I use the stool to sit and the arms securely allow me to stand by placing my arm weight on steady stool and using the ground level side allows me to get up off my knees. Thanks and will use it in my flower beds in the spring.

The garden stool is sturdy but has some flaws. The "claw" gloves are useless. The extra kneeling pad is small and ineffective. The tool pouches need to either have snaps or Velcro to hold them in place, or they need to have a longer loop to keep the pouches in place while using the stool. Back to the stool; The end caps are not assembled on the stool and do not easily push on. I used a rubber mallet to beat it into place. Once in place, it was great. The hinges attaching the seat to the legs are sturdy and well built and folds up nicely. Both the seat and kneeling area are well padded and large, which is great. When in the seating position, it easily tips and can be a hazard to sit on. The kneeling area is good, and the sides work well to help steady you as you stand up. However, kneeling for a long period of time gets to be uncomfortable rather quickly. In the seated position, which is the challenge with most garden stools, is that they are too tall and weeding in a hunched over position for an extended period of time is ergonomically bad on the back and uncomfortable unless weeding in a raised bed garden. To make this stool from ok to great, this is what I did to modify it; On Amazon, order the Dimple KTDC314013 , High Density Thick Foam Comfort Kneeling Mats (in a three pack) and using Gorilla Tape, stack them on the kneeling side of the stool and tape 1, 2, or all 3 of them together onto the base ( the stool will no longer fold up, but it works so much better for gardening and weeding). Attach Velcro to the tool pouches to secure them to the handles and purchase the best garden gloves, either P-12 or P-200 model from Trend Tech International on Amazon and you will have a much better gardening experience.
