Pretty decent starter plane for around $60. The overall design is actually pretty nice and the gyro stabilization makes it fairly beginner friendly if you can get used to the generic very plasticey controller. What gets me are the batteries. You get two 3.7V lipo batteries rated at only 350mAh each, which just seems tiny even for something this lightweight. I understand every gram matters with an RC plane, but I feel like they could have squeezed a little more capacity especially for the asking price. As a matter of fact, if you're a DIY enthusiast who knows electronics and how to solder on batteries you can easily upgrade the capacity for free. I personally found a few disposable vapes on the ground and simply repurposed those batteries by soldering them onto the same type of male connector and saved them from ending up in a landfill (SMH) so it's a double win NOTE: don't do that unless you know what you're doing. It's critical that you don't mess with lipo or ion cells as it can cause burns, shock, fire or worse. The plane itself is made almost entirely out of lightweight EPP foam. It's tougher than regular packing Styrofoam and that's pretty normal for beginner RC planes since it keeps the weight down, but there's still only so much abuse foam can take. A bad crash, hard nose dive or unlucky gust of wind into something isn't going to do it any favors. Overall though, it flies well, looks pretty cool and is a fun entry level plane for the price. Just don't expect the batteries or airframe to take a ton of abuse. ... show more
