My 4 year old who is into RC vehicles and wanted an “off-road” RC loved this vehicle, but it only lasted 3-4 hours of operation before the front drive motor (has one rear drive motor too) stopped working and it lost “4 whee drive”, and was incapable of driving effectively on any surface. Called DEERC customer service and they offered to send a replacement motor or 1-time vehicle replacement. We aren’t handy and the toy is clearly not designed for easy self-service repair, so we opted for the replacement and are awaiting receipt. Pros: Plug & play, easy to learn controls, good speed for younger drivers, good tires Cons: Durability, controller quality (turn dial sticks on), reduced power in cold conditions, customer service experience ... show more

This is my son’s favorite rc truck and he was so sad when the controller broke. However customer service quickly stepped in and sent him a replacement. This truck can go on any terrain and can take a beating a LMS keeping going. Highly recommend!

The only purpose for this is as a shock value gift for someone you rarely see due to its size. Past that, it's garbage. It literally broke the switch just turning the thing on. It's speed is fine for what you pay. It's turning radius is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. shock value gift or look elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend buying for your own child. I bought this for my kids 5th birthday. He squeeled with excitement. It was fast and bounced over small obstacles easily. I think he mostly enjoyed chasing his dad through the house with it lol. Its good inside and out. Perfect for play and completely worth the money.
