  • Works Perfectly. Currently using 5 of these. It DOES control PMW
Style: FH-10
Ignore the negative reviewers saying that they lied and that it doesn’t control PMW. This is a bunch of Bull and those reviewers are computer illiterate and can’t read apparently. Yes this hub DOES indeed control via PMW. HOWEVER.... it only uses PMW IF THE FIRST FAN CONNNECTED IS A 4 PIN PMW FAN!!!! This is because this fan hub works by allowing the Motherboard to read the fan plugged into slot one’s specs ONLY. Once you program your curve in your intended software for that fan, the hub them relays the PMW signal to all the remaining fans plugged into the hub. Aka, whatever you are telling the fan in slot 1 to do, the rest of the fans will do the EXACT same. You CANNOT program each connected fan individually. This is because THIS IS NOT A FAN CONTROLLER! Fan controllers provide power to the fans themselves, thus it can program each fan separately. The drawback to controllers is if you have a ton of fans, you need a crap ton of controllers or else your fans won’t work as it can’t supply enough power (I tried connecting 5 Noctua 140mm 3000 rpm fans to a single controller that said it supplied 10W to each fan and if I run those at any faster than 40% speed, alarms go off like crazy and fans shut down. I can’t actually run more than 3 of those fans to a single controller and I have 14 in my rig. So yea... I’m not dropping $650 for enough fan controllers for them all. That’s where this hub comes into play) Tips: Try to only connect identical spec’d fans to the same hub. If I connect all Noctua industrial 140mm 3000 rpm fans to a single hub I can occupy all open slots. It is currently running 9 of these bad boys at almost full speeds no prob (that’s like a 95-110W draw. Insane) However, if I connect a couple of the odd ball fans I inserted into my rig (3 NZXT 2000 rpm Aer 140mm fans, 3 120mm Thermaltake ring fans, 2 EVGA 140mm Rad Fans) into the hub with some of those noctuas, not all the fans will operate at all sometimes. Usually a system reboot fixes this but it does happen. So FYI, pair fans by spec to hub. Example of my current setup. - 1 of these hubs with 9 of the noctuas running all my noctuas working intakes from right side, front and bottom - 1 hub at the rear connected to 4 noctuas running in exhaust at the top and rear. - 1 hub in center of case beside mobo running 6 NZXT 140mm Aer Rad fans for my aio’s -1 hub on backside of mobo plate in center of case running 3 140mm Thermaltake Ring Static Pressure fans and 2 EVGA 140mm Rad Fan positioned in front of various components using diy mounting options inside case like in front of ram and gpus because I run multi gpu setups Note: This is a dual rig system. Hence the insane amount of fans. The case is a Thermaltake WP200 (tower and pedestal combo) ... show more

  • Works great, no extra software or anything needed
Style: SC700
This thing is great and came in very handy when the RGB controller in my MSI MPG Velox 100R sadly burnt out after like two months. It takes a SATA power connection just like my previous unit (and most if not all others) and then you get literally 10 ports to use for ARGB. I have my AIO, the radiator fan, 4 MSI case fans, the integrated rgb leds. I run my Corsair fans through their Lighting Node, but this works awesome for everything else in the case. ... show more

  • Great product, worked as advertised
Style: SC790
I used to connect 13 d30 140mm Phanteks fans plus the d30 420mm AIO from the same brand. No issues, am able to control the fan speed and the RGB for all the devices from 1 port on my motherboard (x670e aorus master)

  • Slick way to make cable management better
Style: SC790
If you have an 'old school' style PC case like I do (Corsair SPEC-02 from Back In The Old Days) you know that cable management was not at the level it is nowadays. I grew tired of the 'black spaghetti look' and bought this hub to remedy that issue when I 'resurrected' my kaput PC build. The hub works well enough, connects all of the aRGB lights and fans into one easy to tuck away unit, and looks good if you're into mounting it in a more conspicuous way. That said, the magnet is WEAK AS WATER and will NOT hold well (Might just be my case finish though, so YMMV, but have some double-sided tape on hand anyways)... That's really the only complaint I have, and it's minor. Not a bad unit for the price. ... show more

  • I have 18 fans.
Style: FH-10
Before I discovered this setup, I had 3 Commander Pros in my computer controlling all of my fans (Corsair Obsidian 1000D). One day, I thought to myself "this doesn't make sense, there has to be a better way". Someone posted this on a forum I stumbled upon while googling a solution. I loved the product on paper, so I went with it. Holy moly. What an elegant solution. I bought two. Both control my Noctua Industrial 3000 fans with ease and precision. One thing I'll add is that it doesn't play nice with fan extension cables. Once I added more than 3 fans with extension cables, RPM readouts (and consequently, the RPMs) were all over the place. I'm guessing it's because not all extension cables are built the same, affecting the unit. So I plugged all of the fans directly to the units with no extension. If you have multiple fans that you need controlled through a single fan header for an elegant install, look no further. ... show more

  • Useful if you have lots of aRGB fans
Style: SC790
Bought this because I was installing 5 aRGB fans (two front, two top, 1 rear,) but my motherboard only had 1 available aRGB / JRAINBOW header. Installation is easy (no software needed) - plug each fan's aRGB and PWM headers into a paired port in the hub, and make sure at least one of them is plugged into the blue port labelled "CPU FAN". Note that you don't have to plug a CPU cooler fan into the "CPU FAN" port - whatever you plug in there will become the 'master' fan, and all other fans plugged into the hub will follow the same fan profile (% speed) as the master. Hub's main PWM and aRGB ports are connected to appropriate slots on motherboard, and don't forget to also plug in the SATA power cable. This wasn't clear, but after a bit of research, it seems like the SATA cable provides all the power, and the PWM and aRGB inputs only provide speed and color signals, respectively. Working great, and very useful for smaller cases / motherboards that don't have a lot of fan/aRGB headers. ... show more
