Beautiful bench for my entry way. Well thought out packaging. Super easy to put together. No tools needed. Just remove from box, unfold the two arms, and lock into place. The white paint is even through out. Great purchase! Buy this bench!

I REALLY wanted to give this bench 5 stars. It's a super cool bench. But I can't. Let me start with the good stuff: It arrives pre-assembled in a huge box. You do exactly nothing to assemble this. It's amazing. It just slides out of the box and is ready to go. Mine had zero chemical odors and was packed with care. The bench has strong metal hinges and unfolds easily. There are small metal latches under the seat that lock the folding parts into place. The bench is lightweight, but strong, and easy to carry. I live in Florida, where we have to move outdoor furniture inside during hurricanes, so the fact that this folds up is extremely helpful. The reason why I can't give it 5 stars is because it just doesn't have enough paint on it to be an outdoor piece of furniture. The paint is thin and unevenly applied -- my pictures show it before anyone has used it, on the first day I received it. The seat has some slightly worn areas and the planks are just raw, rough wood where they join the frame. Again, Florida. The rain and moisture will get in those unfinished wood areas and rot it from the inside out. This bench wouldn't last a year here. I love it enough that I might be motivated to repaint it myself, but I'm semi-disabled, so this is no small undertaking for me and not something that the consumer should have to do in the first place. I think if you have a covered porch or screen room, that might be the best place for this type of product. It doesn't seem like a fully outdoor object. Alas. ... show more

I set aside a few hours to put this Decor Therapy outdoor bench together, so imagine my surprise when I opened this up and there was absolutely zero assembly required! It’s completely put together and you just take it out of the box and unfold it. That’s it and then your ready to sit! That is absolutely amazing and a genius idea on the brands part! It looks nice once opened and set out, but it’s definitely not the most comfortable and can use some a padding/seat cushions. The size is decent, and it seams sturdy, but I would still feel nervous if two adults that were fairly tall and large were to sit on it. The overall look is great, but I am slightly nervous about the finish, or lack there of on certain spots. It looks like they may have missed a few spots when finishing it and that may be a problem in the future it it is being left out in the elements even for the summer. But other than that I really like this! It’s awesome that I can just fold it up to store it during the winter, and it takes up basically no room at all since it folds flat. This outdoor bench requires no assembly upon arrival; you have to unfold it and side down two side pieces to hold it in place and it is ready to go. It is a great size for your garden or front patio. It is stylish and comfortable but also has the space to add a thin patio cushion for extended seating. There is plenty of room to sit on this, as you can see from my picture with a life-sized seasonal décor piece. There were no clips or flaws in the seat upon arrival and it continues to be clean and durable while outdoors. It is a quality item that holds up despite the weather. The white color is a great contrast to the other darker décor I have in my yard and compliments the colors around the house. It is nice having this piece as a functional decorative piece. We can sit there or we can use it to take up the area decoratively. It is not strictly outdoors and could be used in a front entryway, although it does look best as an outdoor piece.
