I do wish I had a way to secure them down for two reasons. One, my daughter has discovered a new place to put her little toys (ugh) and when they are closed and my air is running, they want to rattle and not stay in place. I’m planning on securing them in the very near future. They are easy to open and close unlike traditional vents. They give my home a more neat and stylish look. I am so happy with my purchase. I own a manufactured home and I don't think they considered where the vents were landing. Some of the vents are right out in the middle of the floor.
