  • Good net, durable, strong poles.
Good net for keeping goats in check. Dwarf goats can slip between the gaps in the net when it's not charged, so make sure you keep your battery charged up. I'm using this net with a 2 joule energizer and a 12V battery. I bought two nets and ended up taking half the poles from the second net to ensure the first one stays held up - but that's mostly due to my net's path being very chaotic and winding through trees. If it was a straight shot, the provided poles would be enough. You can buy extra poles separately (other brands) for fairly cheap on Amazon so it's not a big deal; I'll eventually order some spare poles to get the second net installed and linked into the first one for an expanded pen for my goats. I did notice the lowest charged line (second up from the bottom, as the bottom line does not get any charge) tends to sag a bit and it's tough to keep the grass/weeds short enough to avoid constant zapping, so I traced the bottom line up to the connection point (where the positive wire attaches to the net) and disconneted it there, which prevents it from recieving any charge. This would be a non-issue if you can keep the grass cut low around your net, but it springs up quickly in my area. ... show more

  • Either directly change out the sticks or buy quality
Netting is okay but the sticks break just one week in with just wind hitting and the sun shining on them .

  • Need to know
There is no smaller hole size at the bottom of the fence a chicken can go through the fence with no problem but it is good for keeping out larger animals from the chickens
