I haven't blinked since Monday. These little capsules pack a wake-the-dead level punch, and they actually taste great too — bold, smooth, with a nice kick of "good luck falling asleep tonight." It pains me to write this because I love their coffee but there is definitely something wrong with these capsules in the design. My machine either barely gets water though them or worse sometimes it doesn’t get any water through and throws an error. I’ve quit trying them in fear that it will mess up my machine. Unless they address this issues my opinion is stick to their regular whole bean or ground coffee options. Also it’s probably worth noting that when it does manage to get water through the shot is weak and not much flavor. ... show more

The taste and quality of the espresso grounds inside was great and as expected for death wish BUT the pods are such poor quality themselves for what you're paying when many other brands and companies make similar priced pods with a much more substantial quality to the pods themselves. Needless to say they were finicky and didn't always want to work or puncture or produce properly but when they did it was great. Also I shook the pod and shook a couple other brands and I feel like there's less grounds in these than others but that can be on purpose as the caffeine in these are through the roof it's death wish coffee. ... show more

I've been having death wish coffee for more than 3ish years (we sell it at the cafe I work at too) the espresso whole bean blend is great, hits without the bitterness of bad coffee, tastes AMAZING, and gets my day started on the best foot. This is my personal favorite out of all of them. So happy they made a nespresso, I drink this every morning! (Ps if you mixed this beautiful behemoth w/ a little chobani creamer is literally heaven on earth) ... show more
