  • Pretty good
The first shipment I received was opened, so I asked for a replacement. I like the machine. My parents 20 year old machine broke and they wanted a replacement, and this one is very similar to their old one. I really like the removable tank. I also like how small it is. For whatever reason, the dimensions aren't written here, but my father was able to find them on the company website. ... show more

  • Bought as new, was given used and defective…twice
Bought as new from amazon. Was sent a defective USED one that wouldnt make coffee. Amazon would only allow a replacement. Received replacement yesterday. Still USED (see box it came in), still defective. Made one cup of coffee and machine proceeded to leak everywhere. Took an entire roll of paper towels to clean up the mess. They should be ashamed of themselves to call this “new” ... show more

  • If you get it for less than $100, it is worth it
After seeing this listing, I found it for $80 new. And, for such price it is ok, but not for much more. It makes coffee, yes. Front panel feels cheap, as the whole design is kind of econo too. I don't mind, since I did not have $$$ for fancy expensive machines (which I used before). I would give it 4 stars, if not for two things: The pump is rather weak. If you grind your coffee like it should be for expresso - fine powder - the water may not get through it. Not enough pressure. Also, don't taper too strong, as it will also restrict flow too much. If you have medium grind, press it lightly and it will be ok, with nice crema. Another potential problem - unlike any other cheap or fancy machines I used, coffee compartment has a weird rubber seal inside. Instead of it being all stainless steel - it has a thick rubber. Why? No idea. But, each time you are brewing coffee, you also are brewing rubber. Not very delicious in my opinion. And, as it is exposed to heat, I am sure it will be a problem, as rubber will start disintegrate, with the need of buying replacement parts sooner than I would wish. Just weird. Another small flaw of design - the green light "ready" is simply hooked to the heating element. When you leave it on for a few minutes and it gets hot, heater automatically switches off. and so does the "ready" light. If you missed the moment it was on, you may keep waiting and waiting until it will get ready - while it is. When you start brewing, after a few moments when cold water enters to the heater and gets warmed again - light will go on again. You just need to get used to it. Also the coffee spoon/taper combo is very flimsy, may break one day. Other than these - it is small, makes coffee, and is simple. So, not bad. For what I paid for it, anyway ($80). ... show more
