I'm happy I bought this featherboard. I have a couple of different types but this one has become my go to for holding boards down when necessary. It allows me to put whatever downward pressure I want on my cut because it is spring loaded, but will still allow me to back my cut out if necessary.

Works perfectly right out of the box. Can use the saw's miter grooves and the fence's "T" slots and it is smooth as silk. I am going to order another immediately and select overnight delivery; I am that happy with it. (I am returning today a pair of plastic arc-shaped featherboards which are cheaper than this device but do not hold a candle to it.) I have several of those plastic "arcs" which have been included with router tables and I intend to replace all of them with this excellent tool! ... show more

The throw on the guide does not extend that far and it was missing an all thread rod for the T Track. Seems to be made of good quality otherwise. Rating really for missing part

    • Great addition for table saw and router table.
The wheels do a great job of keeping stock locked down. For the table saw, it is not quite adjustable enough to justify using it all the time, but if it works out for you during repeated cuts, it will make you happy you got it. The router table is where these shine, as the typical application works writhing the adjustable limits, and the tolerance is spot on to keep the piece locked down. To be fair, I’m usually ripping sheet goods on the table saw, and this is fantastic for it, but was recently working with 6/4 cedar, and I could not adjust it higher enough to use it. For the price, I bought 2, thinking of the router table, and I’m glad I did. Great purchase overall. ... show more
