Bought to upgrade an old laptop that only had 4GB, and this really breathed new life into the laptop. I just matched specs from the old laptop to this RAM, and they plugged in easily after taking out the old sticks, the BIOS recognized and updated, and laptop is much more usable, this eliminated the constant paging caused by not having enough RAM in the laptop to begin with.

The worked for me. Did Bios level memory check - a 100% success. Just kicked a 10 year old HP 2000 laptop up to 16GB of RAM ( from 4GB). Added a low cost SSD hard drive. Now it's running the latest release 64-bit Linux Mint Cinnamon smooth as silk with a ten year old 2020m Intel Pentium CPU smooth as silk. Thrilled!
