The blade materials are very high quality and the blade is of sufficient thickness that it does not bend or flop around when cutting—only slight pressure is needed to slice through the thickest steak from rare to well done. And, the wood handles are superbly finished and made of high quality hardwood. The entire set is a statement in quality and elegance. Cleanup is easy with a mild dish soap and a quick wipe to dry. Definitely would purchase this item again—and this set of steak knives would make a superb gift for any occasion. Definitely a value purchase!

This is a great high quality fillet knife. Definitely recommend. Especially for the price. I have been looking at purchasing a fleet knife and not really wanting to spend the 70 plus dollars in a big box store for one. This one gets the job done well. Only thing that would make it better is if it had a nicer case. But for the money I can't even complain about that.

This knife is truly beautiful. In addition, it is well balanced, feels great in the hand and is sharp, sharp, sharp. On its first use, it made easy work of cleaning and seperating a rack of ribs.

Updating the review to 4 stars as the customer service is wonderful and helped get thru a resolution. Considering the knife looked promising and with this super customer service, will definitely look to try other products from this seller again! Previous review for reference: Disappointed that out of box this is dull. Nearly an inch section of the blade about an inch from the tip is butter knife sharp while the rest of the knife is so-so at best. In addition, the rivets and tang are larger than the actual handle material which seems to be skimped. I don't think this will be a comfortable knife especially if this is used for any extended period of time. Unfortunately, this was found out only after the return window. Thus stuck with it... :(
