The media could not be loaded. I’ve had a few drones before, but this one is on a whole other level. This AI drone feels super solid and stable in the air. It basically flies itself, and I’m guessing that’s due to the AI stabilization, so even as a beginner I noticed I was getting incredibly smooth 4K footage right away. The obstacle avoidance sensor on top really works. It detected a tree in my backyard and stopped automatically (which really saved me at the time). I should fly in a more wide open area while first learning, but it’s so tempting not to because of how great of control this drone has. I’m also a big fan of the built-in screen on the remote. The controller has a big bright screen that makes setup so much easier and it’s a touchscreen. Absolutely love that it’s from an American company that actually answers when you need help.

The media could not be loaded. I’m frankly blown away by just how easy this drone is to fly. I literally took it out of the case and was up in the air within minutes. No app or phone needed because the controller already has a large bright screen built in. The 4k video quality looks incredible and the follow me feature actually works perfectly. I even tried the built-in payload drop system just for fun and it was awesome. It feels super stable, even in wind, and battery life has been great. Finally, a powerful drone from a real American company that makes flying simple.

The media could not be loaded. The 4K camera and 3 axis gimbal make the video footage look like a movie, no joke. I took it out on a windy day at the beach and it stayed perfectly stable. The battery lasted a full 45 to 50 minutes and the flight distance range is crazy. I went out almost 3 miles and still had a clear signal, but got nervous so I pressed the RTH button and it came right back. I’m not used to a drone that can reliably go this far! Return to home worked exactly as it should, came right back to me when I hit the button and the speed topped out at around 38mph during RTH, the drone was really booking it. You can tell this Volo X drone was designed for real users. Plenty easy for beginners, but still have such room for growth for much more advanced flyers. I just really can’t say enough about this thing. The artificial intelligence used for the cinematic quick shots is extremely helpful in making me look like a pro videographer (hopefully my video uploads to this review so you all can see what I mean), but I think even more impressive is how the AI is used for obstacle detection to prevent accidents and also for perfect stability as it hovers in the air exactly in the spot you leave it. American ingenuity is back!

I spent countless hours researching drones before finally choosing this volo x ez ai drone model, and let me tell you, it was worth every minute. Now that I’ve spent a considerable amount of time flying it, I can say with confidence that the thoughtful design, solid build, features, flight performance (even in wind!), and reliability of this drone are 2nd to NONE. Plus, the intuitive controls make it a breeze to pilot, even for someone like me who's relatively new to drone flying. Really like this so far!!

The media could not be loaded. This Volo EZ AI drone is super easy to fly and blew leaves out of my gutters. After having some fun experimenting using its built in airdrop system to carry and release a payload (1 of my old boots) into the bed of my F350 pickup truck, I was quickly impressed and noticed the motors are extremely powerful and wanted to see if it could knock out the dreaded task I’ve been putting off of cleaning my gutters out. I honestly got this drone for its advertised ease of use and built in artificial intelligence because I’ve never been too intelligent lol, especially when it comes to tech. But that being said, I feel like I actually had genius idea that I’ve never seen or heard anyone do before. Use the super strong motors to blow leaves out of my gutter, and it worked like a charm people! It wasn’t that windy of a day, but the drone remained so stable it seemed like it could handle much heavier winds for sure. I took the obstacle avoidance sensor off the top before attempting the gutter cleaning because the sensor wouldn’t allow me to get within 2ft of the gutters which I needed. So yeah I guess it was a little risky for the drones safety but again, it was super stable and easy to control, and at least I was safe. And yes I’m well aware that people use top drones to CHECK their gutters to see if they need to be cleaned, but I used this beastly EZ AI drone to literally CLEAN my gutters by blowing all the leaves and debris out and it worked beautifully. Also, it only took about 5mins to clear an entire gutter and no more than 20mins for all 4. My house isn’t too big, but that still saved me literally hours and now I don’t have to risk climbing and standing on the ladder. By the way the battery seemed to last even longer than the advertised 45mins. But anyway I really just want to share my leaf blowing idea to help as many people as possible and I included a little video clip of it in action. I also need to give this American company some serious credit so great job DCX, your EZ AI model has already far outdone what I was hoping for. I feel like the possibilities are endless with this AI drone. By the way, it just clicked that EZ AI is meant to be EASY AI lol I knew they mentioned how easy it is to use, but I didn’t put the 2 and 2 together in the name until just now, I guess because I don’t know what volo x means so it got hidden in the mix.

Easy peezy flying. Calibration procedure was very easy to follow and you can be up and flying in less than two minutes. My favorite features are the return home button and obstacle avoidance. Honestly this has been so easy to fly that I haven’t even had to use the obstacle avoidance yet. I usually just fly with it off. The drone carrying case is super high quality and big which makes it a sinch to keep all my extra accessories and things in one spot and travel with the drone.
