My excellent TP-Link WiFi router came with the typical short DC power cable (what router doesn't?). Thankfully TP-Link uses the same type of connection as most old-school (i.e. not POE) residential security camera power cables (same polarity, same size connectors). In fact I tried a piece of 66' power cable from an old camera and it did NOT work. I figured the length of the wire must be causing to much "juice" to be lost.
