    • Was not a direct fit and had to be repaired.
I purchased this alternator with the expectations of being Direct Fit. well it wasn't it took me a while to figure out why I threw two serpentine belts which cost $35 a piece and I tried calling their phone number but got no support whatsoever. It turns out the alternator was manufactured wrong somebody had stuck a washer underneath the pulley on the alternator shaft which made the pulley stick out too far and cause the belts to rip and come off. I had to remove the alternator once again, take the pulley off, remove the washer put the pulley back on and it was fine. Do not believe when they tell you it's a direct fit because it wasn't. The money I saved on the alternator I spent on serpentine belts. ... show more
