Title tells most of it. Had the alternator die in my 2004 Lexus RX330, not sure if it was the factory alternator or not, since I bought the car a few years ago. In either case, I bought this one since I have an Amp+Sub installed, and figured this one would be good since it has a higher load the the factory alt. Only hiccup I had was that I forgot to disconnect the batter (amateur move on my part) and I blew my main fuse installing this guy. I finished the install anyway with no other issues, and once I got the new fuse in everything fired up and ran just fine. About 1.5 years later, its still running great and I've had no more dead battery issues or dashboard lights. Great purchase, would recommend! ... show more

Cracked housing Hopefully this works I didn't have much choice but to put it in. Pretty poor quality control. *Update*already squealing I will need a new one. Update alternator has failed completely less than 20 days after installation.
