I am absolutely surprised as to the quality of this light! It’s gorgeous and adds a whimsical vibe. It’s very well made and it was very carefully packaged like I’ve seen in other reviews. A cool feature is there’s a latch that opens the light so you can change the bulb. I was worried that you would have to twist the whole light off to change the bulb, but nope. This product is well thought out. But still, handle with care. I think you could break a piece of the glass part if not careful. I have this in a nook area. Probably depends on the bulb, but it’s bright enough for a little area like an entry room, hallways, nook, etc. I don’t suggest this for areas like a kitchen or bathroom. I purchased two of these light fixtures. I truly like it. It wasn’t the easiest fixture to install- need two people for sure. I have a frosted led light bulb in it, but will be using 100 watt incandescent bulb.

Beautiful lights to go with the night sky theme im bringing to life in my home. I got two of them for my hallways! They come very padded and safe. Easy instructions. Took 20 minutes to wire and mount both of them in.

Really cool light, slightly fiddly installation. It only has 4 holes to mount to your ceiling light box, so the light cannot be clocked into a rotational position. Most boxes have slightly offset holes so there's no way to orient the light to line up. This could have been solved with slots instead of holes. I'll pull the router out later and modify it, but it's such a simple thing that would make it way better ... show more

I’m surprised by all the reviews saying what a monster this is to install; they almost convinced me to return this without trying. Glad I did because, by myself, I got this up in under 10 minutes, including turning off the breaker. Make sure you take something to stack on top of the ladder to hold it while you wire (I used the box and styrofoam it came with), start the first ceiling screw by hand, and it was easily finished with my cordless drill / screwdriver. Looks great and is well made for the price. If you’ve ever installed a ceiling light or fan before, you’ll be fine ... show more
