The media could not be loaded. These LED strips are good… for the price I paid. I built my own bed frame and then bought these LED strips to run within the frame. They do a good job for the application I chose to use them for. At the highest brightness, they are still dim enough in the middle of the night to not distract you. The remote control is a bit much tho. Too many buttons In the box you will find 2 spools of LED strips, a remote control, and a power outlet with 2 plugs. UPDATE: My cat decided to attack these and about a foot of the tape was mangled and had lots of little teeth marks. I am surprised and impressed to say only that portion of the led tape stopped working. I chopped off the bad part and the rest of it still works no problem! For me, this product was super easy to put together. The tape is strong. The color choices are top notch and the fact that you can create your own custom color is the chef’s kiss. These LED lights are versatile and easy to use. We added them to a sign we created. It provided the most incredible back lighting in an easy manner providing a wonderful appearance. Instructions didn’t discuss cutting the light tape, but a quick Google search allowed us to find that. The adhesion on the back of those allowed it to stay in place without additional fasteners.     • Whacky- TV remote messed it up

So I did a staircase with the light set. Worked great at first. TV is near the staircase and the remote for the TV would affect the lights and change the color. Blocked off the sensor but the lights then would not change color. So ordered another one. Put that along the staircase and it was fine but it's very delicate and touched it with the piece of furniture and then the lights would no longer change color or respond to the remote color changer. Okay. So ordered a third set but the third set does not respond at all. Only one strand is blinking and one strand would not come on at all. Using a voltage sensor it showed that power was going through both strips but neither remote since we had the old one, would turn on the light strips and make the color respond. Just one strip blinking. If you get it unravel it and plug it in right away to make sure the whole unit operates. Unfortunately I had it sitting in the box and it is just past the return date because putting it up through a stairwell is kind of a pain so I put it off. On the upside it comes in two rolls so there was 25 ft going into directions which worked perfect to go up each side of a set of stairs and light it up very well. Now have to get something else. We loved them and bought 2 sets to go in our RV. The one set they will come on in one color if I unplug from the control box they come back on in the one color again. If I unplug the socket from the wall they don't come on at all. I've tried to find a way to get info on replacement but nothing yet.

These lights did not work for me at all. I put them up around my bedroom ceiling. After putting them up I turned them on but they didn't even turn on properly. The only way for them to stay on for me was to hold down the end of the lights and where they connect to the battery. And this is not good if I want to have them on as I do something else. And yes, I did read the instructions multiple times and double checked that everything was plugged in correctly. Also, when I pressed the button on the controller to blue, it changes to pink and yellow then other random colors. This was really weird. Then when I put up the lights, they stayed up for a little then started to not stick to the ceiling anymore. My ceiling was clean and had no dust an I dusted all of the spider webs and anything else it might not stick to away. The box was not damaged at all and came with all the parts. This is probably the only good things about these lights for me. I took them down now and I'm getting other ones of a different brand. If you want to buy these I would get another brand. Many other people said these were great and worked well but they definitely did not for me. If you don't want to risk this happening I'd find another better brand. The lights were easy to put up came on a wheel. 2 strands. And are still working. But the sticky dontbwork well with wood.. I bought a bed brand new. Thought I'd save me some money doing this part myself. Lmfao. Ya not so far. I strung them behind the headboard. Then along the inside of the metal underneath. On flat square nothing rounded. But they lasted not even a month to stay up. They still work ok. I just jerp going under and resticking them. As long as your only 4ft away or closer and nothing is in the way between you and reciever. Lol So the remote for lights forever be on the head board. Cause since I have pillows (itbis a bed) and I put the reciever behind the head board I have to literally every time reach my hand with remote behind head board. So when you install make sure reciever is easily accessible. It's not a strong one. Very weak. But lights still work. I just need to take tape and fix the parts that come down. Was stuck only to the bed frame but since it kept falling off, I stuck it to wall. Reciever has a spot for a small screw. But didn't come with one. So if they would've sent the screw I'd would have used it to the wood. But the hole is real small. And I don't want to break plastic. Thinking of trying hardware store when I have time to find a small enough screw. ... show more
