VERY BRIGHT at full power. IS trimmable to desired length, but you'll have to be a fairly skilled solderer or have a good connecting mechanism. Unfortunately this model requires 24V to work. I didn't notice in the writeup, and was hoping for something between 5-12V. It does come with the appropriate power supply and an in-line dimming component. I’m working on a vanity wall for my room and I bought this hoping for a neutral colored light for around my mirror (it’s a little on the cooler side). Originally I was looking at neon ropes because they have more of a diffused light look and you can’t see the tiny individual LED lights inside. But the downside to those is that they are thick and hard to install, I needed something that would hold up with adhesive. This strip looked like it had somewhat of a cover on the individual LEDs to diffuse it a little, and it also had an adhesive strip which was perfect so I gave it a shot. When I received the product I didn’t expect the covering over the LED lights to be yellow though (so if it will be exposed be aware that the strip covering the lights is pretty bright yellow) but it didn’t bother me much. They were super easy to put up and they actually look pretty good, they are super bright, dimmable, and perfect for doing my makeup! It was easy to buy and set up the corner connections as well. Overall this works for what I wanted and it definitely beats installing a neon rope. Update: Lights stopped working after about 2 years. They were not left on or used daily.. so I’m a little disappointed. I have other leds that have been under my cabinets for 6 years and still running. ... show more

4-star because it started to flicker from time to time within a month of use. usage is just for a few hours daily. placed this around the perimeter of my dartboard cabinet to provide magnificent light. compared to LEDs, this is the way to go. bright and flexible to change the lumens with the remote control or thru the app. installation is easy. you have to temporarily tape it where you want to place it so you know how long and how far you need to cut to your desired length. adhesion is great. ensure that you remove the protective tape in small batches (pull the white cover in short spans and press). quality is not at 100% since the solder from the power supply wire to the COB is not great. great price for the usage of this COB light. 4-stars as it didn't last long. could still be used but it flickers from time to time. ... show more

Exactly what i was looking for to convert my old beer sign to LEDs. I also bought a wire extension so the lights didnt run up the wall. Everything is self contained in the light. Dimmer switch is a big plus... no janky remote. one color i chose is warm white because i tried to keep it as close to the original. Tape seemed good but i wont have to open it up for a while. Pretty flexible lights for the way i needed them to fit. Very dim to lights up my kitchen ... show more

First of the good stuff: the strip works and is relatively easy to work with. The plastic (or rubber?) coating helps as a diffuser. The weird stuff: when using the dimmer and powering the strip to 100% it starts flickering - something which I can see and am bothered by greatly, but my mother cannot see. I suspect that a better (beefier) power supply is needed. The included power supply is tiny, and I suspect that's part of the problem. I noticed other reviewers also complained about the power supply, and I am inclined to think that this is a real issue. ... show more
