This is my first purchase of a strip lighting and it's great! I used it outline my bay window that's facing the street/my driveway, and not only does it light up my living room from the inside but also the entire front porch.     • Undersized power supply - can't use at full power due to flickering

First of the good stuff: the strip works and is relatively easy to work with. The plastic (or rubber?) coating helps as a diffuser. The weird stuff: when using the dimmer and powering the strip to 100% it starts flickering - something which I can see and am bothered by greatly, but my mother cannot see. I suspect that a better (beefier) power supply is needed. The included power supply is tiny, and I suspect that's part of the problem. I noticed other reviewers also complained about the power supply, and I am inclined to think that this is a real issue. ... show more

Okay these things are awesome! Used them to make a vanity mirror for our daughter. Love the dimmable option, that they’re cut-able, and they were so easy to stick on and feel like they’re on there very well. Love the end product. Will definitely be ordering more if I have more places to use them!

Holy smokes. I unraveled the spool of lights and then plugged them in. Holy smokes, I imagine this is what staring at the sun feels like. They're BRIGHT. Super bright. And super white! I ended up cutting the strip into several pieces, attaching wires to them to run back to a central 24v power source, and installed it all in my 3d printer.     • Good light, power adapter gets really hot.

Be careful with the power adapter. I bought a few of these and the first couple came with a 24V, 1.5A adapter and works well. The second pair I ordered came with a 1.0A adapter, which is slightly smaller amperage, and it gets very hot to the touch on an LED strip that’s even slightly shorter (was cut) than the full 16.4 ft strip. The second set clearly had an incorrect power adapter, and looks different than advertised. ... show more
