    • Inexpensive but gets job done
It’s not anything fancy, but it gets the job done. The knob is easy to use to set the thickness, and slicing is really easy. The slices it makes are pretty uniform which is nice. You will have to either purchase new blades (if they sell them for this) or figure out a way to sharpen them every so often though because once they get dull it’s going to get a lot harder to slice. The biggest suggestion I can make is to plan what you need sliced for the week and do it all at once since it is a bit of a pain to take out and put away. It’s definitely not an on the counter all the time type of product. Overall though for the price it does what I need it to do. ... show more

Very nice, heavy duty, multifunctional, can slice thin to thick. Easy set up. A must have if you process your own meats or buy in bulk for prepping

    • It slices, It slices some more...It keeps on slicing. Its the incredible slicer!
Jokes aside, slices everything really well once you get used to it. Go to fast or too slow and it might struggle a little bit, but slices into the perfect size every time, and allows you to slice a large amount VERY quickly. It is very easy to clean, once you get the blade off. Once you get the blade OFF. Yeah, removing the blade was actually a real pain in the neck the first time. Whoever designed this, decided to make the removal mechanism quarter operated. As in, instead of a phillips or flathead screwdriver, or a latch, or something simple, they used a coin slot screw that took a fair bit of effort to remove the first time. So you put a coin into this round gap and rotate it like a screwdriver, but getting the proper leverage was actually rather difficult, because not everyone carries around quarters, so I had to use a butter knife, and tension it just right. Got easier the second time, but that is probably because I didn't retighten it enough. Still though. Works amazing, cuts great, and saves a lot of time. ... show more

This is one of those things that you didn’t know that you needed until you got one. The size of the blade is perfect for large size meats and cheeses. This is a nice slicer, it has a thickness control knob, it’s easy to take apart to clean, and it’s a compact size so you can put it in the cabinet or leave it out on the countertop. ... show more

I use this to slice chicken breasts to make dog treats. Easy to clean and use. After using this product, I've had no problems with it at all. I have no complaints to report about this product. I recommend this product.

    • Nice home sized kitchen appliance.
If you want to thinly slice your own meats & cheeses for sandwiches, wraps, etc. - this is a good home slicer. I've used the large professional slicers - and while this isn't as heavy, it is enough to get the job done for a home cook. Not hard to clean, easy to use.

I must say that I'm disappointed on saying that this electric food slicer's motor is not strong enough to slice as we probably are expecting. I tried it with a cabbage since it's one of the veggies I would had used it. I tried to cut it as thin, but I had a bit of trouble slicing it. So I changed the set up to a more thick, but it didn't change the outcome. Then I also tried to cut meat, so I decided to slice a hotdog. It did slice it, but I'm not impressed. I like the content of having an electric food slicer for a faster food preparation, but this wasn't it AT ALL. I don't recommend this. ... show more

This thing is so cool. Definitely an impulse buy, but very happy with it. Sturdy construction and it has suction cups on the feet to keep it secure when slicing. It has adjustable thickness for your items. Very happy with this. Now I need to find out where to store it

The words "rinky dink" came up. Push too hard and meat can get caught behind the blade where it doesn't belong. Don't push hard enough and you're chewing the meat. It comes with two blades, one serrated and one not, which is good. It's easy to stow because it's small, which is not surprising given the price. If you haven't been a home slicer, just skip this and keep buying from the deli. If you're in for the savings of preparing meats, cheese and veg at home, buy something more substantial. ... show more
