EDIT - lets tone down the hype. This stuff does shape my curls nicely but also VERY drying. wont be purchasing again I am always experimenting with new curly hair products and decided to give this a try. My hair is Caucasian, very curly with looser spirals and quite thin. I struggle with finding good products because the heavier creams weigh down my thin strands so I loose the curl. This stuff works perfectly! very lightweight; creates and holds beautiful curls without weighing down. Its still soft (no crunch!) and very touchable without sticky residue left on your hands. I saw reviews about the smell - it doesnt smell great but i wouldnt say its awful either. This stuff works so well i dont care about the smell. FYI I combine this product with detangler and foam curling product in the shower. I apply this out of the shower after hair has been sitting in a towel (plop method) for a few min with the praying hands + scrunching method. Also a good but lightweight conditioner is necessary! (I know the curly girl struggle so I hope the detail helps someone (: ) I found my new favorite product! This stuff is amazing and i will likely be ordering more from this line next!

I have wavy / curly hair that can also be blown stick straight. I have been air drying / defusing my hair now for almost 2 years and with that I will say it dries fuzzy in some places, flat on the top and ringlets in the back and underneath. This product has definitely helped me achieve curls and evenly distributed waves where I want them. There is zero frizz. ZERO. I am thrilled. The price is way too high. The bottle is way too small as it tells you to apply liberally. The smell is Lily of the Valley I think and it smells awesome. It reminds me of spring since they are one of the first flowers to come out in our yard. If you are curious...try it but be prepared to be wowed. It puts many other curly hair products to shame.

So easy to use to enhance natural curls without frizz! Just scrunch wet hair from the ends up. I’ve been using it for years and love my curly hair even more because of this product.

I read at least 40 reviews on this product (curl cream) before I purchased it. My hair is naturally curly, tends to dry out and gets frizzy so after I read the reviews I decided to give it a shot. I guess I didn't pay attention to the ounces so when I received the cream I was shocked at how small the bottle was. The picture definitely doesn't give an accurate depiction of the container size. I had high hopes based on the reviews but sadly this cream did not work in my hair as it did in so many others. I've tried it the past 3 days and while my hair is still wet it looks great, nice bouncy curls but as soon as it completely dried it wasn't as frizzy as usual but it was still frizzy an I definitely needed something more. I used it on day two and added a larger amount (I am also using the Davines leave in spray) and one side of my hair looked better than the other but still not the look I'm looking for so on day 3 I made sure to use an adequate amount of both and spread it eventually throughout my hair, sadly it still did not magically help my hair achieve that beautiful curly bounce I was looking for, it didn't look to much better than it looks when I use mousse the only positive is that it left my hair feeling softer to the touch than mousse does but I still had to use hair spray so it defeated the purpose. I didn't notice any horrible oder but I did notice a little stickiness on my hand but not so much on my hair. I gave this product a 2 because it didn't do anything for my hair, I didn't give it a 1 because it left my hair softer than mousse leaves it but other than that I did not like it and I am returning the product.

My stylist uses Davines on my hair and it’s such an incredible product, it brings out my natural waves and curls with zero crunch or stiffness. No frizz, and I don’t have to wash my hair as much, the curls stay for a few days!

This cream is what I’ve been looking for. I can comb out my hair after showering, my hair is so smooth and shiny, and smells great. I was a little hesitant to buy it because it was more than what I wanted to spend, but you need such a small amount it will last about three months, and I use it every day.

I have always had trouble keeping my curls smooth. When I leave my hair curly, I give sprays from the Davines OI hair milk to detangle, then with a silver-dollar sized amount of curl cream, gently work the product in. I flip my head upside down, rub the product between my hands, and basically squeeze my hair in a scrunching fashion to get the product all over. I then usually move on to makeup, letting my hair dry naturally for a bit. After that, using a high heat/low airflow setting on my hair dryer, I flip my head over and gently scrunch. Sometimes I use a diffuser, but not always. The resulting curls are pretty crisp, and not frizzy. The BEST PART is that they last at least two days. Did you hear that?!? Sleep on your curly hair, then wake up and it still looks good. Unbelievable. By day 3 it's definitely a messy bun look, because the curls are still there, but let's be real, three day old curls don't look great. I really love this product!
